The real reason Jake and Vienna split

Just three months after Jake Pavelka proposed to Vienna Girardi on national TV, the reality star is a bachelor once again. “Jake and Vienna have split. They appreciate the respect for their privacy at this time,” a rep for the couple says. While no official reason was given for the breakup, sources tell In Touch that Vienna, who created tension between the female contestants on the ABC hit dating competition earlier this year, recently declared to pals that her seemingly cozy coupledom was kaput. “She was telling friends that she was ready to split from Jake,” an insider says. With Jake’s stint on Dancing With the Stars and his upcoming role in the Lifetime TV hit Drop Dead Diva, Vienna’s desire to break free seems to stem from the fact that she hasn’t had as much success as expected being engaged to The Bachelor. “She spends all her time alone in their apartment,” a source tells In Touch.
