Several talented stars got multiple nominations for the Emmys, which were announced this morning, and Mad Men and Glee led the pack.

The dark AMC drama picked up 17 nods while the quirky musical comedy earned 19. Both shows have actors nominated in all four available categories (Jon Hamm, January Jones, John Slattery, Christina Hendricks and Elisabeth Moss for Mad Men; Matthew Morrison, Lea Michele, Jane Lynch and Chris Colfer for Glee). Jon Hamm also got nominated for his guest role on 30 Rock — where he’ll be pitted against Neil Patrick Harris and Mike O’Malley, for their guest stints on Glee. Neil also scored a Supporting Actor nomination for How I Met Your Mother. Meanwhile, Jane Lynch got a shout-out for her guest-starring gig on Two and a Half Men. Christine Baranski is another actress with two shots at winning: one for The Good Wife and one for The Big Bang Theory and Tina Fey has three nominations: two for 30 Rock and another for hosting Saturday Night Live — for which she’ll go up against the formidable Betty White!

Other drama series to make the cut were Breaking Bad, Dexter, The Good Wife, Lost and True Blood, while Glee will compete with Curb Your Enthusiasm, Modern Family, Nurse Jackie, The Office and 30 Rock.

The Emmys will air on August 29 on NBC. Check out the full nomination list at emmys.com.
