Survivor’s James: “Cameras are my kryptonite!”

This week’s Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains featured a double elimination —
and on the Heroes team, it came down to an injured James and the man he
called “Superman in a girdle” — Colby. Although James promised to start
adhering to the group’s bizarre “banana etiquette” and staged a “Survivor
Olympics” on the beach to prove he was still fit, the tribe opted to go with the healthy man. If it seems like James, who was downed by injury in
Micronesia as well, is cursed, he agrees. “My first time experiencing the
inside of a hospital was in Micronesia! Every time I get on Survivor I get
hurt,” he tells In Touch. “It’s like the cameras are my kryptonite!”
