Summertime in Los Angeles was so last year. While Suri Cruise’s life is anything but boring, sources tell In Touch that living in Toronto as her mom, Katie Holmes, films The History Channel’s miniseries The Kennedys has made the 4-year-old happier than ever. “Suri is always smiling,” says an onlooker. “She’s living it up.” When dad Tom Cruise was in town, the pair got ice cream at the Hotel Gelato, where they weren’t mobbed by fans. “Tom sat on the bench outside with Suri and just hung out,” says the insider of their normal life. Well, sort of normal. There’s still one perk from Suri’s Hollywood life: “She has her own driver and rides in her own $80,000 Escalade to and from the set!” And while it’s not unusual to see Suri being carried through the busy city streets when at home in LA, she’s never covering her face in Canada. “Suri loves running around the beautiful grounds, and playing and swimming in the pool at their amazing house when she is not on the set with Katie,” says the insider. “There is also a playroom tailored to Suri. It has all of her favorite dolls and games, so it feels like home.”
