Sherri Shepherd may be single, but she won’t be attending the Oscars without a man on her arm. The Precious star has a date — but she doesn’t even know him yet! Sherri’s longtime galpal, comedian Niecy Nash, has set her up with an escort for the prestigious awards ceremony. “A little blind date! I’ve never met him, but she says he’s a good guy,” Sherri told In Touch at the Woman’s Day Seventh Annual Red Dress Awards in New York on February 10. Though an A-list, swanky soiree may seem like a big first step in a courtship to most, The View panelist/actress isn’t afraid to strut down the
red carpet with her new beau. “If I don’t like him, Quentin Tarantino and Robert De Niro are right there. I can just latch onto them!” she laughed.
