Talk about a nice pre-Christmas present! Sarah Chalke, whose Scrubs quotes have made us laugh for so many years, gave birth to a son December 24.

Her rep confirmed Sarah welcomed the arrivial of “a healthy baby boy” named Charlie Rhodes Afifi, whose dad is the star’s fiance, lawyer Jamie Afifi.

Little Charlie is the first child for the actress.

The couple have been engaged since December 2006. In August, Sarah Chalke and Jamie Afifi announced that they were expecting a child together.

Chalke’s the second new Mommy from the Scrubs cast over the past few months: her costar Judy Reyes gave birth to daughter Leila Ray in November.

Congratulations to the new family!
