Parents of Bruce Beresford-Redman Files for Custody of Grandchildren
April 24, 2010As authorities in Mexico prepare to file charges against Bruce Beresford-Redman for the recent murder of his wife, the former TV producer will likely lose his children soon.
Bruce’s parents, David and Juanita Beresford-Redman have filed the necessary paperwork in L.A. County Superior Court that would make them permanent guardians of Alec and Camilla, the kids Bruce had with his late wife, Monica.
The couple already has temporary custody.
In the documents, David and Juanita say they are retired and in good heath, enjoy a solid relationship with Alec and Camilia and are “able to devote ourselves to the care and nurture of our grandchildren.”
“We are both well-educated, each with a masters degree… we will be able to address questions that arise from our grandchildren,” they wrote.
Bruce reportedly wants it this way, as his children will at least end up in the care of close relatives.
