Healthy and happy to be cancer-free, Dexter’s Michael C. Hall looked better than ever while making an appearance this week at Comic-Con in San Diego’s Gaslamp Quarter. Celebrating his Showtime hit’s upcoming fifth season at
Andaz, the actor “was completely relaxed and drinking whiskey,” a party insider tells In Touch. “He took pictures with fans rather than stay in the VIP area. He was all smiles and looked great.”

Wife and co-star Jennifer Carpenter has stuck by her man throughout his recovery. “Every second is special with him — it sounds corny, but it’s true. I’m very lucky,” she recently said. Michael revealed in January that he had been fighting Hodgkin’s lymphoma, but was thankfully in remission from the disease. Dexter returns to Showtime on September 26.
