Kim Kardashian Issues Statement on Divorce

It’s shocking but true: Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries are getting a divorce. The former followed the paperwork this morning in Los Angeles, following just over two months of marriage.
With the Twitterverse continuing to explode, Kim has released the following statement:
“After careful consideration, I have decided to end my marriage. I hope everyone understands this was not an easy decision. I had hoped this marriage was forever, but sometimes things don’t work out as planned. We remain friends and wish each other the best.”
Most couples ask the media to be considerate of their privacy at a time like this, but let’s be serious: Kris Jenner is likely planning an interview blitz for her daughter as we type.
So, what caused the split? Sources say Kim and Kris could not settle on where to settle down, with Humphries assuming the pair would end up in his native Minnesota, but Kardashian wanting to be closer to Las Vegas red carpets family.
