In Touch Exclusive:Gilles Marini and Sex and the City 2!

Gilles Marini made quite a splash with his naked shower scene in the first Sex and the City movie, and while he doesn’t appear in the sequel, Gilles will definitely take part in the celebrations.
“I’m flying over for the premiere,” Gilles tells In Touch. “I want it to make three times the amount of the first one did. Though this one has nothing to do with me, I owe this franchise the world – [SATC creator] Michael Patrick King put me in the movie.”
Thanks to that brief – yet memorable – role as Dante, Samantha’s naked neighbor, Gilles owes a lot to the Sex and the City creator. It was this role that scored him his gig on Dancing With the Stars and eventually a plum role on ABC’s Brothers & Sisters, whose finale airs this Sunday night.
“It became pretty big and something I’d always dreamed of,” he says of his role as Luc Laurent on the show. “I did the show for my baby girl so she could see daddy and finally have something she can watch – that was my problem before – and she loves it. The whole experience has been priceless. I feel like I am in The Matrix and they are going to unplug me, and I’ll find I live in this crazy world.”
Gilles is not giving away anything about the Brothers & Sisters finale, but teases, “Everyone knows there is a massive accident, but out of that you see real life. There are surprises. We are all depressed, but you will smile and there will be tears and joy.”
Amidst all his success there is another thing Gilles is not forgetting – to vote for ex-dance partner Cheryl Burke, whom he admits to trying not to bother too much while she’s dancing. “I text her, but because she is on the season I let her be. [Her partner] Chad [Ochocinco] needs to be free of any distractions. I remember when I was on, that could be distracting. I hope they go all the way. I have been voting for Cheryl – it’s on speed dial. The whole family does.”
The Brothers & Sisters finale airs on Sunday, May, 16 at 10 p.m. ET on ABC.
