With only two nights left of the current season of Dancing With the Stars, the remaining three couples were all hard at work this past weekend honing their moves for the freestyle as well as the finishing touches on their three other dances.

For Olympic skater Evan Lysacek and partner Anna Trebunskaya, it has been a crazy season with Evan also performing on the show and touring the country with the Smucker’s Stars On Ice Tour. Luckily, he had only three shows to do over the last weekend. “It gave us more
sleep,” Evan tells In Touch. “They always make fun of me in the packages as I’ve usually had no sleep. It’s been a grueling schedule and we are going to savor every minute of this week for sure.”

That’s exactly what ESPN reporter Erin Andrews and partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy are doing. “I really wanted to be here and am excited to be in the finals, it’s all I wanted,” Erin tells In Touch. “It’s surreal, but we’re very much the underdogs. The pressure is on Evan and Nicole. Evan is our Olympic gold medalist — he beat the Russian!” Erin did come up with a scheme to increased her odds, but decided against it. “We thought of telling Evan and Nicole that next week is an off week and then they don’t have to show up,” she laughs. “Then we win. Given that they are both head-and-shoulders above me, I want them to do an injury report in 15 seconds or less, I would kill that. Please just give us a head start.”

Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger (and partner Derek Hough) have a very different approach to winning. “You just have to take it one dance — and one moment — at a time,” Nicole tells In Touch. “Just live that one dance and moment to the fullest. I have all the faith in the world in Derek.” Given that Derek took home the mirror ball trophy with Brooke Burke, who now hosts the show, some words of wisdom from Brooke have been a big help to Nicole. “Brooke told me to just have fun and we’d be fine,” she says.

But whoever takes home the prize, it won’t get in the way of their newfound friendships. “It’s the opposite [of the Olympics],” says Evan. “We are all like family — you want everyone to win. I am bound to Anna for life for bringing me this new family. This experience has gone way too fast.”

Tune in tonight for round one of the Dancing With the Stars finale at 8 p.m. on ABC. DWTS Preview: “The pressure is on!”
