George Clooney‘s girlfriend, Elisabetta Canalis, is just learning to tweet, and she’s already made a major faux pas in the Twittersphere — at Jennifer Aniston‘s expense! Elisabetta re-tweeted something written by her pal, fellow Italian TV personality Alessandro Cattelan, in which he said that a picture of ragged-looking rock star Iggy Pop on the cover of Rolling Stone looked like Jennifer Aniston. But Elisabetta swore she never intended to insult George pal Brad Pitt‘s ex-wife. “I JUST READ ON GOOGLE that I TWEETED something bad about J Aniston, let me be clear,it’s a
complete LIE,I would never do that!!” she wrote, claiming she didn’t understand what it meant to re-tweet. And Alessandro came to her defense as well. “I tweeted about Iggy looking like J.Aniston on Rolling Stone Italia Cover. please give my friend Ely a break. it’s just my fault ” he wrote. “oh… and it was just a joke. come on!”
