Charlotte Church is engaged to rugby player Gavin Henson.

The British singer was proposed to the day after they celebrated her 24th birthday in February, according to Britain’s Daily Mail. ‘Twas a secret proposal, indeed!

The UK’s Daily Mail reports that Henson flew her by helicopter from their home in the Vale of Glamorgan in Wales to the Nare Hotel in Truro, Cornwall, for lunch.

He then got down on one knee and surprised her … with a two-carat heart-shaped diamond ring! No word on what they ate for lunch, but it was probably great.

The soon-to-be newlyweds have two children together, Ruby, 2, and 15-month-old, Dexter. They have been together since 2005. Congratulations to both!
