Khloe Kardashian Slams Tabloid Report, Former Stepmoms

January 11, 2012

Khloe Kardashian is fighting back.

Faced with a tabloid claim – initiated by two former stepmoms – that she’s the result of an affair Kris Jenner engaged in many years ago, the reality star has taken to Twitter and slammed Jan Ashley and Ellen Kardashian, both of whom were married to her father, Robert, and both of whom tell Star Magazine that Khloe is NOT actually a Kardashian.

Not a Kardashian?!?

“The audacity you have to mention my father’s name like this! Should be ashamed of urself! I let a lot of things slide but this one is really low… YOU ARE DISGUSTING! (yes you know who YOU are).”

Family reps also tell TMZ the report is “untrue” and the Kardashians are hurt over the public allegations. Kris Jenner finds them “ridiculous.”

It takes a whole lot to have us side with this attention-starved wastes of quality television airtime… but this story does seem especially salacious, even for a supermarket tabloid.

Jersey Shore’s Ronnie Ortiz-Magro: I Was Bullied

Who would want to mess with Jersey Shore tough guy Ronnie Ortiz-Magro? As a small kid growing up in the Bronx, a lot of people! “Everyone was always bigger than me, and being a lot smaller, I got picked on a lot by the guys in the grades above me,” Ronnie, 26, tells In Touch. “My parents always taught me to walk away from a fight, but from a guy’s point of view, how many times can you walk away? In other places you get respect, but in the Bronx, you have to earn it.”

For Ronnie, fighting back meant hitting the gym — hard. “I grew up watching guys like Arnold Schwarzenegger, The Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin and knew I wasn’t going to look like that sitting on the couch — I had to motivate and make it happen,” says Ronnie. “It was because of the bullying — and I also started to get into girls, too!”

As for accusations that he has taken steroids, Ronnie laughs, “People say I’m on steroids because they can’t look like this eating fast food three days a week.”

Ronnie also admits to In Touch that his experience makes him sensitive to charges that he has become a bully himself: “I get angry at that because every fight that I’ve been in on the show, I’ve been provoked or I’m defending myself. It’s the Bronx instinct: If you feel threatened, you defend yourself.” Despite this, he insists he’s learned lessons from his boardwalk battles. “Watching the show, I get to look back on my mistakes and say, ‘I’m not going to do that again,’” he says. “I grew up a lot during the Italy season. I stayed away from drama and just had a good time.”

Teen Mom Leah Messer Shocker: It’s Twins…Again!

leahtwins1_wide.jpg

In Touch can exclusively reveal that 19-year-old divorcée Leah Messer is pregnant with twins… again! “She just found out last week,” an insider tells In Touch. And instead of feeling completely overwhelmed by the news, the cash-strapped teen mom “is absolutely thrilled” to be having two babies with new man, Jeremy Calvert.

Friends of the reality star tell In Touch that although the nursing student is currently flat broke, she believes the new twins are her ticket to fame and fortune. “She thinks the babies will help her get her own spin-off show,” the insider explains. “And that means a much bigger salary!” Indeed, friends say Leah is determined to become an even bigger star than former Jon & Kate Plus 8 matriarch Kate Gosselin. “She wants her own series and her own brand, just like Kate!” the insider says.

Ron Paul Claims “Victory For Liberty” in New Hampshire Primary

Ron Paul may have finished second in the New Hampshire primary Tuesday, but to hear him tell it, he – and more importantly liberty – was a big winner.

“I think the intellectual revolution that’s going on now to restore liberty in this country is on its way, and there’s no way they’re going to stop the momentum that we have started,” said Paul after his second strong outing in as many states.

In an energetic speech to supporters, he laughed off criticism that he’s “dangerous” (except to the status quo, in which case he accepts the label) and thanked the Manchester Union-Leader for not endorsing him (the paper backed Newt Gingrich).

Even on a night that saw Mitt Romney win, Paul showed why his campaign has caught fire, and showed no signs of slowing down heading into S.C.:

The Vampire DiariesNina Dobrev is about to take a final bite out of her romance with co-star Ian Somerhalder. An insider says Ian, 33, proposed to the 23-year-old beauty over the holidays. “She is freaking out, saying, ‘I don’t want to marry him!’” a friend tells In Touch exclusively. “She thinks she’s too young, and with all the offers she’s getting, she’s poised to be a big star.” Now, sadly, she feels like the relationship is ruined. “They were having fun, and now there’s a lot of tension.”

Finding Nemo Trailer: Just Keep Swimming in 3D!

Finding Nemo, the undersea classic from Disney and Pixar, returns to theaters in 3D this September. The 2003 hit won the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature.

Albert Brooks stars as Marlin, a maligned clownfish determined to rescue son Nemo, who was scooped up by an Aussie diver and placed in a tank with other captives.

Ellen DeGeneres is Dory, Marlin’s lovable, memory-challenged sidekick.

Visually stunning then, and even now in standard definition, it should look even more so in three dimensions. Watch the trailer for the film’s 3-D re-release here!

Kim Kardashian on Fans: Not Stupid!

Kim Kardashian has 6.9 million Facebook fans, 11.6 million Twitter followers and was part of a family that made $65 million in 2010.

So, yes, if you’re basing success on strangers believing they’re your friend and a large bank account, this makes perfect sense: Kardashian covers the latest issue of Success.

What has allowed Kim to rake in such dough and so many followers? She tells the magazine that she tries to give “sisterly advice” to all who ask.

“I’ll listen to fans’ comments and questions asking what skincare do I use or what fragrance I like, and I feel I’m in a position that I can answer those questions well,” Kardashian said, trying to pretend like she writes her own blog or posts her own Tweets.

Kim adds that she and her mom set goals every six months and – wouldn’t you know it?!? – they “always come true.”

As for her followers, those who don’t comprehend that Kardashian makes thousands for every Tweet and uses her Facebook page as an ATM?

“People aren’t stupid,” she says. “You really have to love what you do and you really have to believe in what you’re working for, for everyone else to believe you.”

Corduroys: They’re Baaaaack!

albpants1_wide.jpg

Ah, winter. ‘Tis the season for comfy knits and cozy favorites. In other words, cue corduroys. Yep, your dad wore them in the’ 70s and your mom may still have a vintage pair buried somewhere (and if she does, you should nab them immediately!) — but they’re back… And stars are loving themselves a pair this winter. The best part? These throwbacks are so versatile!

For a sophisticated take, pair your flared version with a sharp blazer — à la Jessica Alba. Or take a cue from the ever-stylish Sarah Jessica Parker and create a rocker-chic mix with a skinny style (killer suede booties and a badass leather jacket don’t hurt, either).

But, point is, no matter your fashion sensibility, it’s time to shelve your go-to jeans in favor of a pair of cords (well, for a few months, at least). Comfortable, casual and on-trend, this hipster staple is already a go-to for Hollywood’s fashion elite… and should be yours, too!

Stephen Colbert Surges Past Jon Huntsman in South Carolina Primary Poll

Stephen Colbert may not have succeeded in buying the naming rights to the South Carolina Republican primary, but he is polling at a respectable 5 percent.

Seriously, he is. That’s tied with Rick Perry and ahead of Jon Huntsman.

If Huntsman is hopeful he’ll get a bump after his third-place finish in New Hampshire last night … this is not it. Again, he is trailing comedian Stephen Colbert.

The survey, by Public Policy Polling (PPP), puts the Comedy Central anchor, who is not (and was never) running, at an even 5 percent, with Perry. Huntsman has 4 percent.

With that projected vote tally, Colbert is in a tie for fifth behind Mitt Romney (30%), Newt Gingrich (23%), Rick Santorum (19%) and Ron Paul (10%), respectively.

Admittedly, many of Colbert’s supporters may be Democrats planning to participate in the Palmetto State’s open primary … or just saying his name as a joke.

If so, nicely played.

Colbert also happens to be a South Carolina native and very involved in politics, albeit in an absurd way. Who knows, if his Colbert Nation Super PAC starts making some key ad buys, maybe he’ll creep into double digits. Watch your back Mitt.

Manny Pacquiao vs. Floyd Mayweather: Will it Happen?

Will Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather fight this May? The former’s trainer says he will decide within days whether to agree to a boxing match May 5.

Freddie Roachsaid Manny and promoter Bob Arum are in the Philippines, trying to push back deals to fight other boxers so he can tangle with Floyd.

Roach is scoffing at Mayweather’s tweet in which he calls Pacquiao a “punk,” saying, “He should look in the mirror. He’s been ducking us for two years.”

As for what weight class Manny Pacquiao will fight in, Roach said 147 lbs., or the upper limit of welterweight. We’ll see if that becomes an issue as well.

Of course, even if Pacquiao can rearrange his schedule, both sides have to agree on a financial deal, leaving many possible opportunities for an impasse.

Roach says, “We’ll do it on even terms.” At least Mayweather’s jail sentence for domestic violence has been pushed back, freeing up his calendar for May 5.

He just needs an opponent to conveniently duck last minute.

Who will win if Pacquiao and Mayweather throw down?
