Leah Messer, Jeremy Calvert Dish on Wedding

Leah Messer is still married to Corey Simms in the episodes of Teen Mom 2 airing on MTV now. But those are a year old at this point, and much has happened since.

The 19-year-old is pregnant and engaged to someone else, namely.

Jeremy Calvert, 22, popped the question over the holidays … possibly after he got Leah pregnant. Oh well. In any case, the couple is planning their dream wedding!

Leah Messer: New man, new baby, new bangs!

“It will be traditional, with friends and family,” says Jeremy, a pipeline engineer in West Virginia who proposed to his girlfriend of five months with a 1.5-carat diamond.

“I’ll want my parents and grandparents to be there.”

Giving Leah the wedding she’s always wanted is important to Jeremy: “We’re both romantic. Leah got all embarrassed when I proposed, and it was adorable.”

“We’d like to write our own vows and get married in a church,” Calvert, who has no kids of his own, adds with a chuckle, “Yes, I probably will wear a tuxedo.”

Ashton Kutcher Shaves: What’s His Best Look?


Ashton Kutcher took to the stage today at the Television Critics Association winter press tour and made it rather clear he hopes to return to Two and a Half Men next season.

On a one-year “test” deal,” the actor said he’s looking at this summer as a “hiatus” because he wants to appear in more atrociously unfunny episodes of the CBS hit. Oh, and he’s also shaved his facial hair. Completely.

The new look is “related to the show, completely,” he said at the panel. “Tune in Monday.”

Sinead O’Connor Tweets For Psychiatric Help


Sinead O’Connor’s Tweets continue to defy comprehension.

The oft-married Irish singer launched into a worrisome Twitter rant Wednesday, practically begging her followers for a referral to a Dublin psychiatrist, saying she was in desperate need of medication and in “serious danger.”

What caused this sudden and disturbing downward spiral and plea for help? Continuing fallout and criticism from her maligned marriage to Barry Herridge.

“Morning,” she said. “I realize i will be in trouble 4 doing this but ireland is a VERY hard place to find help in. So having tried all other ways 1st im asking does any1 know a psychiatrist in dublin or wicklow who could urgently see me today please?”

Helen Mirren On Katy And Russell’s Split: “Maybe They’ll Come Back Together!”

While she has confessed that Russell Brand is a “naughty boy,” Dame Helen Mirren still has faith that her close friend and his estranged wife, Katy Perry, will reunite. “It’s very hard to keep things going,” Helen, who starred opposite Russell in last year’s comedy Arthur, told In Touch when asked about the former couple at the National Board of Review Gala in New York on January 10. “Maybe they’ll come back together again later on in life!”

Despite rumors that his wandering eye was at fault, Helen hints that both actor Russell and singer Katy’s busy schedules were to blame for the divorce. “They’re both very, very successful,” she added.

And it seems that not only Helen wants the marriage to be saved. In the new issue of In Touch, sources say that Katy is fighting to win her former hubby back. “Katy has said that she will do anything for a second shot,” an insider tells In Touch.

Jessica Simpson’s Fashion-Forward Pregnancy

As one of the hosts of the newest fashion competition show Fashion Star, its no surprise that Jessica Simpson is having one of the most stylish pregnancies of the year. And while she’s been criticized for certain fashion choices in the past (hello, high-waisted jeans circa 2009) this soon-to-be hot mama has certainly made up for it lately, and she’s telling us all about her inspiration and her new show. “I like to play it safe but push trends. Like coming Spring, the biggest trend is going to be color blocking and that’s what we talked to a lot of the upcoming designers about — give everything a pop of color but make it to where you can always wear a cute black dress with it, wear it to work. It’s really important to make garments that are very universal from work, from day to night.”

And with a fashion empire of her own that grossed $750 million last year, and is projected to reach $1 billion this year, it’s safe to say that she’s one mentor on Fashion Star who knows what she’s talking about. “Well, this is great because I get to talk about clothes the entire time. I’m glad that I don’t have to judge. I would be awful at judging and sending somebody home so I’m better at the encouragement part and hopefully bringing the best out in the designer.”

As for that baby bump that everyone seems so curious about, Jessica wants to keep some things between her and fiancé Eric Johnson. “We’re not saying the due date but it’s in the spring so it’s coming. We’ve gone through all different kinds of names but we’re pretty much set on our name so we’ll see what happens.”

Blake Corl-Baietti: Dating Demi Moore?


Demi Moore may have found herself a new boy toy.

Witnesses allegedly spotted the actress stepping out this week in Los Angeles with a 26-year old personal trainer named Blake Corl-Baietti.

Nothing else is known about the relationship, but Corl-Baietti is a former model with an interest in “anything outdoors,” according to a 2009 profile on a modeling site. He served in the California National Guard and pursued a degree in kinesiology in college.

Moore’s ex, Ashton Kutcher, hasn’t been heard from much since the couple’s split, but rumors circulated last month that he was dating screenwriter Lorene Scafaria.

Source: Rihanna Totally Wants Chris Brown Back!


Rihanna and ex-boyfriend Chris Brown have not only let bygones be bygones, she is actively looking to win him back! According to a tabloid source, anyway.

Publicly, they are expected to come face to face at the Grammys on February 12, but sources say that the former couple is already spending time together!

“Not only has she initiated a Twitter conversation with Chris for all to see, but she has gone to see him,” an insider close to Chris dishes to Life & Style.

Of Rihanna, the source adds: “She stopped by Chris’ studio to see him recently – twice. She’s also calling and texting him a lot. She won’t let go.”

Rihanna, 23, ended their relationship in early 2009 for obvious reasons after Chris Brown, 22, was charged with assaulting her after a pre-Grammy Awards party.

Time has healed those wounds – physical and otherwise – however. This latest report is the latest of several suggesting Rihanna and Chris may get back together.

“She’s trying to break up Chris and his girlfriend, [Karrueche Tran],” says the source. “Chris is happy, but Rihanna keeps playing her games to make trouble.”

“It’s really become an issue lately.”

Chris and Karrueche Tran have reportedly been dating since 2010. Rih dated Matt Kemp for a year and has been linked to a host of others, but not seriously.

Nina Dobrev “Freaking Out” Over Ian Somerhalder Proposal: Report


Their characters shared their first real kiss on The Vampire Diaries last week, but a new report suggests things have taken a turn for the worse in real life for Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev.

According to In Touch Weekly, the actor proposed to his long-time girlfriend over the holidays, but the response was not exactly what Somerhalder has been dreaming about.

“She is freaking out, saying, ‘I don’t want to marry him!’” a friend claims. “She thinks she’s too young, and with all the offers she’s getting, she’s poised to be a big star… They were having fun, and now there’s a lot of tension.”

Call us crazy, but if Dobrev doesn’t want to wake up alongside Somerhalder every morning for the rest of her life, we have a feeling a few (million) other women might.

Smart Thief Tries, Fails to Gank Flat Screen TV


A thief was recently busted trying to steal a flat screen LG TV in this hilarious video, which has the feel of a viral marketing campaign by LG itself. It’s unclear.

Either way, it’s hilarious. Utilizing the thinness of the product to his advantage, and with surprisingly well-planned execution regarding the security camera angles, the random schmoe made it all the way out the door before being busted.

His undoing? Walking very, very slowly and carrying a GIANT ASS TV.

Has to be fake, right? The way he stares right at the camera throughout, and with LG and “world’s slimmest television” emblazoned clearly on the window?

What do you think? If this is alternate form of advertising, it worked and them some. If it’s a real heist gone awry, bravo to the perp on such a ballsy, stupid idea.

With wins in the Iowa caucus and New Hampshire primary, Mitt Romney has a leg up in the race for the Republican presidential nomination in 2012.

If he won the right to face our first African-American President, Barack Obama, Romney would become the first Mormon on a major party ticket.

While this is hardly an endorsement of Romney, good for him, and for voters embracing candidates of varying religions, backgrounds and ethnicity.
