Kim Richards has left rehab, an insider confirms, although there are conflicting reports on how the reality star’s time was spent inside the facility.

The Real Housewife of Beverly Hills – who checked in to an undisclosed facility in December – is “doing well,” according to one Us Weekly source, but another claims she actually tried to leave at one point during her 30-day stay.

The 47-year-old was “very defiant,” this mole says.

Any Real Housewives of Beverly Hills viewer could tell Kim was in need of help. She slurred her words at one point during season two and was told by co-star Dr. Paul Nassif that she abused prescription medicine.

What does Kim’s future hold? It’s too early to say. But it’s not too early to guarantee that Bravo cameras will be there for whatever goes down next.

Multimillionaire Mitt Romney, a wealthy venture capitalist who has refused to release his tax returns while running for president, has a tougher time than some candidates forging a common-man connection with primary voters.

Case in point: This moment in New Hampshire yesterday.

Romney said during a rally, “I know what it’s like to worry whether you’re going to get fired. There were a couple of times I wondered if I was going to get a pink slip.”

A Romney spokeswoman  had no specific dates or jobs to support this claim, but said his “pink slip” fears occurred “while he worked his way up the career ladder.”

University of New Hampshire political science professor Andy Smith said: “He’s trying to identify with regular folks, but he’s seen as somebody who’s wealthy.”

The former Bay State governor, dubbed a “career politician” by his rivals, also sought to play down his long-held presidential ambitions at Exeter High School.

“I never imagined I’d get a chance to run for president,” said Romney.

At the same rally, Romney faced Occupy protesters chanting “Mitt kills jobs.” On the sump with him, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie responded as only he can.

Only a few short weeks after reports that Jamie Bell was shopping for an engagement ring for Evan Rachel Wood, she was seen with some serious bling last night.

The duo was photographed leaving The Hotel Café in Hollywood together late Saturday, where Wood was performing a show at the intimate performance venue.

On her left finger, the actress / singer wore an enormous diamond solitaire engagement ring. Neither party has confirmed it, but that’s the rumor going around.

The Billy Elliot star first fell for Evan Rachel Wood in 2006, after meeting on the 2005 set of the classic Green Day video “Wake Me Up When September Ends.”

The duo, who dated for about a year, even got matching tattoos before splitting. They reunited over this past summer, and have been inseparable ever since.

The True Blood actress and Bell “were really young and just getting going in their careers when they first met and weren’t ready,” a source told Radar Online.

“Now that they are older and both excelling in their professional lives, I think they feel ready to take their relationship to the next level.”

Wood, who says she is bisexual, was engaged to Marilyn Manson briefly.

If nothing else, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie always livens things up.

Campaigning in Iowa last week on behalf of Republican presidential hopeful Mitt Romney, he threatened to return “Jersey style” if the state’s caucus-goers let him down.

Yesterday in New Hampshire, he handled some hecklers in typical fashion. While he didn’t threaten to have them whacked, he did smack them down, Jersey style.

After a chant broke out involving Christie killinh jobs, he turned it right back around … with a reference to oral sex. Romney could not have looked more uncomfortable.

At some point in the somewhat near future, movie goers will have a chance to LOL at LOL, the upcoming dramedy that stars Miley Cyus as a confused teenager and Demi Moore as her mostly helpless mother.

There’s no release date for the movie at the moment.

But that could change if there’s an overwhelmingly positive reaction to the first trailer, which was released today. It hypes the film as being about “the time in all of our lives when we discover what we stand for,” while showing clips of Miley’s character goofing around and, eventually, falling in love.

I can’t love him but I do. I feel so real with him, Cyrus says in the preview. Watch now and decide: Will you purchase a ticket for LOL?

A few days after Chelsea Gill posted a video on YouTube that asked out How I Met Your Mother star Jason Segal via a hilarious, catchy musical tribute, the actor responded over the weekend by actually taking his biggest fan out on a date!

On Saturday night, Segel met up with Gill and her twin sister for drinks at the Ritz-Carlton hotel, followed by a trip to the Chicago Film Critic Awards.

“I freaked out,” Gill told The Chicago Tribute of her reaction after Segel posted her video on his Twitter page. “I just started screaming and running around my house. I called my sister, my parents, my best friend; I was freaking out. My downstairs neighbor probably thought I was getting murdered because I was running around screaming.”

And how did the actual meeting go? Did the reality live up to the fantasy?

“He’s really a wonderful person,” Gill said. “He is so down to earth, sweet and humble; just a sweetheart.”

Sydney Spies, a high school senior from Durango, Colo., was denied inclusion in her class’ yearbook after its editors rejected both of the photos she submitted.

Their justification for that? The pics were just too racy!

The 18-year-old wore a short yellow skirt, showing off her stomach in one of the shots. Not exactly Courtney Stodden levels, but not standard yearbook fare.

Still, Spies’ story captured the attention of news outlets everywhere. “I really honestly think that it describes who I am,” Spies explained to Today‘s Matt Lauer.

“I’m an outgoing person and I really do think it’s artistic. Like I said, people have their sports pictures, pictures with their horses or guitars. That’s my interest.”

Spies said she was surprised her peers rejected the photos, as she said they agreed to it in the first place by a 4-1 vote before the principal urged them not to.

“The next day their whole decision changed completely against me,” said Spies, who was offered an advertising spot in the book – for a standard $300 fee.

She bristled at that consolation: “If it’s going to be in the yearbook anyway, why should I not be able to have it as my senior picture? I don’t understand.”

Spies says she may take the school to court over this.

“I don’t know if i want to go that far with it,” she said. “But it’s illegal for the administration to get involved. So that’s why we have considered that option.”

Charlie Sheen has good news for his family members, but troubling news for those of us who dish on celebrity gossip for a living: the actor is no longer insane.

That’s what Sheen – posing below with Raising Hope star Cloris Leachman – told reporters yesterday at the Television Critics Association winter press session.

“I’m not crazy any more. That was an episode,” Sheen joked last night. “I think I’m a different person than I was yesterday. Everything is a lot more mellow and focused and much more rooted in reality.”

Of course, the new attitude doesn’t mean Sheen won’t zing Two and a Half Men creator Chuck Lorre still. Asked about his upcoming FX comedy, Anger Management, Sheen said:

“It’s nice to be in a situation where the people I’m working with are excited about my input. That wasn’t the case for a long time.”

How does the actor now define “winning?” What is his life like these days?

“I’ve been spending a lot of time with the kids, a lot of time with the family and I’m getting back into work mode. I’m a single guy hanging out with my children.”
