It’s being reported that Sienna Miller is pregnant with her first child! The 30-year-old actress has been dating 26-year-old actor Tom Sturridge for about a year now, and sources say that despite the pregnancy, the two “don’t have plans right away to marry, if at all.” The couple recently spent the holidays in Paris and have yet to confirm that she’s expecting — although Tom’s rep did say, “We don’t comment on our clients’ personal lives at all.” However, the source reportedly added, “Friends are really happy with Sienna’s relationship with Tom. He’s younger, yes, but he’s mature and he’s a good guy. They’re really good together.”

Nick Cannon to Be Released from Hospital, Wife Tweets

Mariah Carey has good news regarding her ailing husband.

Just a couple days after saying that Nick Cannon was in “a lot of pain” due what has been described as mild kidney failure, the singer updated fans today via another Tweet.

With a laptop, balloons and gorgeous wife by his side, things could be a lot worse for Nick Cannon.

“Nick is in stable condition with a good prognosis, hopefully he’ll be discharged within 2 days,” Carey wrote this afternoon, adding: “As always he’s laughing and in good spirits.”

She also included the following caption with the new photo, posted above: “Thank you everyone for all the love & concern.”

Nephew of Rick Santorum: Vote Ron Paul!

Former U.S. Senator Rick Santorum catapulted himself to the top tier of the Republican presidential race this week, losing the Iowa caucus by just eight votes.

With newly-minted contender status comes increased scrutiny, however. Santorum was booed off stage in New Hampshire yesterday for comments about gay marriage.

Not everyone in his own family is convinced he’s up to the task, either. This week his nephew penned an editorial for the Daily Caller in support of … Ron Paul.

Paul and Santorum

“If you want another big-government politician who supports the status quo to run our country, you should vote for my uncle, Rick Santorum,” John Garver writes.

Garver, a 19-year-old student at the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown, continues:

“America is based on a strong belief in individual liberty. My uncle’s interventionist policies, both domestic and foreign, stem from his irrational fear of freedom not working.

It is not the government’s job to dictate to individuals how they must live. The Constitution was designed to protect individual liberty. My Uncle Rick cannot fathom a society in which people cooperate and work with each other freely.

When Republicans were spending so much money under President Bush, my uncle was right there along with them as a senator. The reason we have so much debt is not only because of Democrats, but also because of big-spending Republicans like my Uncle Rick.

It is because of this inability of status quo politicians to recognize the importance of our individual liberties that I have been drawn to Ron Paul. Unlike my uncle, he does not believe the American people are incapable of forming decisions.

He believes that an individual is more powerful than any group (a notion our founding fathers also believed in).

Another important reason I support Ron Paul is his position on foreign policy. He is the only candidate willing to bring our troops home, not only from the Middle East, but from around the world.

Ron Paul seems to be the only candidate trying to win the election for a reason other than simply winning the election. This year, I’ll vote for an honest change in our government.

I’ll vote for real hope. I’ll vote for a real leader. This year, I will vote for Ron Paul.”

The candidates square off, along with frontrunner Mitt Romney, in debates Saturday night and Sunday morning in New Hampshire, which holds its primary Tuesday.

Expect fireworks.

Jennifer Hudson Talks Weight Loss, Shows Off Slim Figure

Jennifer Hudson doesn’t merely cover the latest issue of Good Housekeeping – the Oscar winner looks darn good while doing so!

The former American Idol finalist has incredibly lost 80 pounds, and she says her son doesn’t even recognize his own mother when looking at photos or clips of her former self.

“What’s funny is that he’s never known me overweight,” Hudson tells the magazine. “If he sees a clip of the old Jennifer from Dreamgirls, he doesn’t know who it is.”

Hudson says she doesn’t torture herself to remain skinny, though. One has to cheat to maintain sanity.

“I’ll find a calm, peaceful moment, and I’ll sit back and eat my chocolate, which I make sure is really good quality, too,” she says, adding this piece of advice: “Quality over quantity!”

John McCain Mistakenly Endorses President Obama

Honest mistake or Freudian slip?

Sen. John McCain mixed up Barack Obama and Republican candidate Mitt Romney, who he endorsed this week, in a campaign appearance on the latter’s behalf.

Speaking on Romney’s behalf in South Carolina, the 2008 GOP nominee opined that he has little doubt President Obama will get the country going again.

Pretty funny.

Rob Lowe to Replace Regis Philbin on Live?

Regis Philbin’s replacement on ABC could be Rob Lowe, reports say.

Lowe just finished a two-day stint guest hosting with Kelly Ripa and an ABC source says the top network brass “loved the chemistry between them.”

Network executives have spoken with Lowe’s reps about making it a permanent gig, but Lowe, who stars on Parks and Recreation, is non-committal.

There’s a big surprise. One of the more itinerant actors around, Lowe has departed in the middle of numerous programs’ runs in pursuit of other projects.

Rob was just asked by TMZ whether he’s moving to New York.

He said: “We were just talking about that. I love New York. I love the energy. It would be a change of pace. I’m a California boy, but it could be fun.”

Thoughts? Rob Lowe replacing Regis Philbin

WHO DO YOU THINK WILL WIN?

Elin Nordegren and Jamie Dingman: Getting Serious!

Elin Nordegren may have just demolished her mansion by the sea, but her romance with Jamie Dingman, a wealthy businessman, is apparently getting stronger by the day.

So much so, they spent the holidays together!

Sources say the romantic couple traveled to the Bahamas, and “things are going great between them.” She started dating Jamie Dingman around the middle of last year.

The Swedish beauty, who just turned 32 Jan. 1, and her kids have moved into a private community until the new house is ready. Dingman reportedly visits her often.

Jamie’s dad, Michael Dingman, is a wealthy investor, while Jamie himself specialized in Russian private equity funds and once owned an Indy car-racing team.

Interestingly, he reportedly dated Bridget Moynahan, Tom Brady’s ex, before Elin, and has also been linked to Princess Madeleine of Sweden … and Rachel Uchitel.

We’re just glad Elin Nordegren is happy in any case.

Joran van der Sloot to Plead Guilty to Murder?

Murder suspect Joran van der Sloot asked for more time Friday to decide how to plead as his trial opened in the death of a 21-year-old Peruvian woman.

The Dutch citizen indicated that he was inclined to confess to the crime but doesn’t accept the aggravated murder charges sought by the prosecution.

A three-judge panel ordered the trial to resume on January 11.

When he was asked moments earlier by presiding judge Victoria Montoya to enter a plea to the murder charges, Joran van der Sloot answered:

“I want to give a sincere confession, but I don’t agree with all the charges that have been placed on me by the prosecutor.”

“Can I have more time to think about this?”

The 24-year-old, lso the prime suspect in the unsolved 2005 disappearance of Natalee Holloway, repeatedly shook his head when the prosecutor described how Van der Sloot allegedly beat and strangled the victim, intending to rob her.

Van der Sloot long ago admitted to police that he killed Stephany Flores in his Lima hotel room on May 30, 2010. So what’s the holdup here?

He claimed in that confession that he did it in a fit of rage after she discovered Van der Sloot’s connection to Holloway’s disappearance on Aruba.

Police forensic experts have disputed that version of events.

Defense attorney Jose Luis Jimenez said before the hearing that there was a 70% chance Van der Sloot would plead guilty, leading to a reduced sentence.

Prosecutors are seeking 30 years for murder and theft.

Jimenez contends his client was in a state of emotional distress and would “seek to reduce the charge from first-degree murder to simple homicide.”

The latter carries a prison sentence of 8-20 years.

Van der Sloot entered the courtroom in Lurigancho prison in Lima Friday morning in a blue blazer and faded blue jeans with a bulletproof vest.

He sported a crew cut and an untucked long-sleeved shirt.

He took off the vest in court, which lacked air conditioning, and fidgeted, yawning several times and slouching. That drew Judge Montoya’s reproach.

“Sit up straight and show some respect for the court,” she told him.

Mitt Romney Spars With Reporter After Being Called a Liar

Normally unflappable Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney got into it with The Associated Press’ Glenn Johnson today after basically being called a liar.

While attempting to brand himself as a Washington outsider, Mitt enjoys strong support from the GOP establishment, as well as lobbyists, Johnson pointed out.

Their exchange grew very testy after Johnson pressed Romney on whether one major lobbyist runs his campaign. Mitt insists the lobbyist is merely an “advisor.”
