Jon Gosselin Supposedly Loses Weight!

Ripped, he’s not. But Jon Gosselin is slightly less fat! Allegedly.

According to In Touch, when he hit beach in Ocean City, N.J., on July 8, “he looked like a new man.” If that’s true, how fat and out of shape was he beforehand?

The dad of eight looked “toned, tanned and healthier than ever” (guess it’s all relative) while strolling the beach with his boring, bikini-clad girlfriend, Ellen Ross.

“Jon’s made time for himself,” says a friend, which he apparently has. “Jon is doing whatever he can to ensure he’ll be around for his kids as long as possible.”

All kidding aside, kudos to Jon Gosselin if that’s true.

His days of heavy drinking, smoking and parading around with mediocre girls made for good gossip, but not a healthy lifestyle. Our one question for you, though …

Kate Major Accuses Michael Lohan of Assault


Kate Major, who recently got engaged to Michael Lohan for some reason, is accusing Lindsay’s father of committing domestic violence earlier this week.

We’re shocked. He’s such an upstanding guy.

According to TMZ, Michael’s fiancee and Lindsay’s ex-assistant filed a report with the Southampton, N.Y., Town Police claiming he physically attacked her.

On Monday at around 2 p.m., just before Michael flew to L.A. for the court hearing at which Lindsay was jailed, they began arguing, Kate told officials.

Michael allegedly shoved her over a chair, injuring her shoulder.

Michael Lohan’s relationship track record just got sketchier.

Even more disturbingly, Kate Major claims that while she was on the ground after being pushed by Michael, the pathetic loser kicked her in the face.

She claims she went to the hospital and has pictures of her injuries. Wow. Looks like M-Lo may have added woman-beater to his gleaming resume.

For his part, Michael admits he got in an argument with Kate over their upcoming TV show (?!) but he didn’t touch her and she’s making it all up.

Why would she do that exactly? He didn’t say. Think he’s lying? He’s also been accused of similar behavior by his most recent ex-fiancee, Erin Muller.

And he’s served time in prison on multiple occasions. Just sayin’.

Christina Applegate is expecting her first child.

The actress and breast cancer survivor has confirmed that she and fiance Martyn Lenoble will soon be parents. The couple dated for two years before getting engaged on Valentine’s Day.

Lenoble is a Dutch bass player and we wish nothing but the best to this pair!

Teresa Giudice Really Might Go to Jail


Teresa Giudice should send a muffin basket to Danielle Staub.

Granted, these two Real Housewives of New Jersey despise each other and went at it angrily enough for the police to be called on them last week – but Staub’s antics have distracted viewers from focusing on Giudice’s significant problems, which boil down to this:

She might be going to jail.

A couple months ago, Teresa and her husband filed for bankruptcy.

But a new report in The Wall Street Journal states the couple allegedly concealed key documents about their finances and business transactions.

The pair is also accused, by According to Chapter 7 trustee John Sywilok, of “making false statements under oath about their assets, income and expenses.” He’s suing the Giudices and attempting to bar them from clearing their debt under the rules of bankruptcy.

We’ll keep readers apprised of this development, along with more troubling news for the Giudices: On August 22, there will be a public auction of the contents inside their mansion.

Tiger, Kobe Tie For Most Popular Athlete


For the first time in years, Woods no longer holds the title of America’s most popular sports star. Not by himself, anyway. NBA star Kobe Bryant is now tied.

Rising from fourth place last year, Kobe rose into a statistical dead heat with Tiger in a Harris Interactive poll, which Woods has won every year since 2006.

Woods’ affair with Rachel Uchitel and countless others became huge news last year, and he has yet to regain the form that made him the world’s #1 golfer.

He hasn’t shown much respect for the game, either.

The survey among 2,227 adults was conducted online from June 14-21. Even before the debacle that was “The Decision,” LeBron James had from third to sixth.

Michael Jordan fell from second to seventh, Yankees star Derek Jeter leaped from fourth to third, with the annoying, possibly retired Brett Favre in fourth.

Britney Spears Looking Haggard, Confused Lately


The term “hot mess” was coined with Britney Spears in mind.

Okay, that’s a lie, but it might as well be true. Just look at this girl! Exceeding her own lofty fashion standards, Brit went to Crate & Barrel in Sherman Oaks, Calif., yesterday and man. She’s having some major extension woes these days.

You’d think with approximately $700,000 a month in earnings, one could pull herself together a little more. Then again, at least she’s not going crazy … we think. Plus, she wore a bra for once, so it wasn’t all bad on the style front. Small victories!

T.I.’s advice for Lindsay


Having recently served a jail sentence stemming from weapons charges, T.I. is proof positive that jail can be a detour on a rocky road to redemption. Asked if he has any advice for Lindsay Lohan, the “Live Your Life” rapper was forthcoming. “The first thing would be to recognize and identify the problem,” T.I. tells In Touch. “Accept the fact that there needs to be adjustments made — and then it’s all in execution and solving the problem.” T.I. has been reveling in his freedom, working on his upcoming album King Uncaged, watching movies with his kids (“I liked Iron Man 2 and The Karate Kid definitely came across well.”) and giving back to the community. “In association with the city of Atlanta, we’re doing a summer camp for boys, 10-13,” he says. “It’s got everything from health and fitness to academics. And we’re teaching them entrepreneurial skills and about things like how to open up bank accounts. The intention is to teach them good habits.”

Despite being fired on the last season of Celebrity Apprentice, Selita Ebanks stands by her hot-tempered former boss Donald Trump’s decision to dump Rachel Uchitel from his hit show. “I don’t know what kind of personality she has, but as far as we know, she slept with a married man! A day after the alleged Tiger Woods mistress signed on for the upcoming season of Celebrity Rehab With Dr. Drew, the snubbed Donald declared he was through with the seductive brunette. “We no longer have interest in Rachel,” he said in a statement, adding that for every one spot on his ABC competition series, there are 10 interested candidates. Party girl Rachel will join model Janice Dickinson, troubled actor Jeremy London and former Hills star Jason Wahler in seeking Dr. Drew Pinsky’s help on the VH1 reality program.

George Clooney to Receive Humanitarian Award at Emmys


George Clooney already has an Oscar under his handsome belt.

But we have a feeling the Emmy Award he’s been assured of will mean more.

Earlier today, The Academy of Television Arts and Sciences announced it will present the charitable actor with its Bob Hope Humanitarian Award at this year’s ceremony on August 29.

Citing Clooney’s efforts as the head of Hope for Haiti, as well as his fundraising for victims of Hurricane Katrina and his involvement with Darfur, John Shaffner – chairman and chief executive of the TV academy -  said this was “an obvious choice.”

We agree.

Jake Pavelka Sticks it to Vienna Girardi, AT&T


Jake Pavelka does not like to be undermined.

His former fiancee, Vienna Girardi, learned this lesson the hard way when he berated her for daring to remeasure furniture … or speaking in most occasions.

He also hijacked her phone number.

Seriously. The Bachelor star recently refused to give Vienna control over the cell phone account he signed her up for, barring her from using her own phone.

“When Vienna and Jake moved to Los Angeles, Jake signed them up for cell phones,” a source explained. “Since the breakup, Vienna has been trying to keep her phone number. She is independent and just wants her own phone.”

DROPPED CALL: Vienna’s wireless problems are more complex than most.

Vienna Girardi called her wireless carrier, AT&T, in a final attempt to wrest control of the account from Pavelka, only to be told she needed Jake’s permission.

AT&T received a big fat no from the fame whore.

“I am not willing to release this number to her. I would rather pay for it myself for the next two years than have her use it,” Jake reportedly told a source.

Damn two-year contracts.

Resourcefully, Vienna ended up getting new number and wireless account and spent much of Monday night texting her friends, so it all worked out in the end.

No word if she did any sexting with Lee Smith.
