Ali Fedotowsky: Confident in Her Decision

According to Us Weekly, The Bachelorette star Ali Fedotowsky ends up engaged on the show’s August 2 finale, and is now planning an early 2011 wedding.

According to The Bachelorette spoilers we’ve read? Not the case.

There are conflicting reports, clearly, regarding what the blonde cutie will do when the field stands at just two and that final rose is ready to be doled out.

Some, including the aforementioned tabloid, cite anonymous sources and vague quotes to “prove” she’s engaged. Other sources claim she’s quite single.

What does Ali herself have to say about it right now? “I’m just confident in the decisions I made,” Fedotowsky told ET Thursday at an event in Hollywood.

Hmm …

A Cute Bachelorette

On this past Monday’s episode, she booted Kirk DeWindt and narrowed her choices to this trio: Roberto Martinez, Chris Lambton, and Frank Neuschaefer.

As for which two make it to the season finale?

“Both guys have so much integrity,” Ali Fedotowsky said. “They are stand-up, honorable and have a lot of respect for others. I just think they are men.”

In other words, Frank is toast. Two-timing jerk.

She added, “They’re the type of guys that any mother or father dream that their daughter would find. I think that’s what makes them really great guys!”

Wow, spoiler alert! A little warning next time?

The reality star is looking forward to the finale being over. “I’m sort of in limbo right now…. I’m really looking forward to everything sort of wrapping up!”

Mother of Bethenny Frankel Fires Back at Reality Star


According to multiple sources, TV’s Real Housewives are nothing but real, big liars.

First, the man that filmed himself having sex with Danielle Staub had the nerve to call that totally stable, victimized woman a phony.

Now, the mother of Bethenny Frankel is chiming in, saying her daughter has exaggerated the difficulties of her childhood. In an interview with People, Frankel said this month: “I never had a true childhood. There was a lot of destruction: alcohol abuse, eating disorders and violent fights.”

How accurate is that statement, according to Bernadette Birk?

“I love my daughter, but what she’s saying is killing me,” Birk tells Star Magazine, denying that she was ever a bulimic alcoholic.

Birk adds that Bethenny is “the most important person in my world.”

Then again, she also confirms she’s only spoken to Frankel twice in the last decade. And she was likely paid to give this interview.

So while Bethenny may be milking her life story for attention and sympathy, it’s clear her mother isn’t exactly the Carol Brady of parental units.

Mercede Johnston Fairly Happy About Levi Johnston-Bristol Palin Engagement


Mercede Johnston, Levi Johnston’s little sister, is happy for him and her soon-to-be sister-in-law Bristol Palin, who announced their engagement early last week.

Mostly happy.

She’s not quite sure why they’re racing down the aisle … and you aren’t alone there, Mercede Johnston. The timing and nature of the announcement was odd.

Recent reports that Levi and Bristol are already in the process of shopping a show about their second engagement and futre nuptials came as no surprise to us.

Noting that she, like Sarah Palin (supposedly), learned the news from Us Weekly, Mercede hints at this ulterior motive for their engagement on her blog:

“I have to say with all the odd things going on lately I expected something. However I think there may be more to this picture than we are able to see now.

I would like to take a moment to congratulate my soon to be sister-in-law and my big brother. I sure hope this is a sincere decision that you have thought through carefully Levi, and that it will bring you happiness.

I do wish you guys would take a little more time with this, and do not understand why you are rushing things. Unless of course there is some reason for the hurry.

I am also very happy to see Tripp in Levi’s arms again, and I do know that it will be good for him to have both of his parents back in his life full time from now on. And you know he really does deserve the best that you can provide.

I can’t wait to watch the two of you wed, I wouldn’t miss it for the world.”

THG Fashion Choice of the Week: Kim Kardashian


Man, why do we ever make fun of Kim Kardashian?!?

Granted, the celebrity has no talent and is only famous because she allowed an aspiring hip hop artist to film the pair having sexual intercourse.

But she also seems mostly aware of these facts and, therefore, doesn’t try to act, sing or do much at all except wear sexy outfits. Case in point, from this week: her one-piece at the AMP Energy Bullrun Rally.

Paris Hilton Busted For Weed Again


Ho-tel heiress Paris Hilton was detained at an airport on the French Island of Corsica after authorities discovered she had pot in her purse, according to the AFP.

She was found to have less than a gram of pot and was released.

If any of this sounds familiar, that’s because it is. Paris was busted briefly for the same exact thing two weeks ago while watching the World Cup in South Africa.

Cops let the socialite skate after they decided it was a friend who had the weed at that time, and apparently she was quickly let off the hook this time as well.

Bribes go a long way. Just kidding. Mostly.

Paris: Pot Smoker?

According to the Mirror (UK), customs officers with drug-sniffing dogs pounced after the multi-millionaire’s flight touched down from Paris (France) on Friday.

Downplaying it, Paris yesterday tried to pass it off as “silly nonsense” posting a message on Twitter saying: “So sick of people making up rumors about me.”

“The latest one about me is completely false too. Don’t believe what you read.” Or you can believe it. An officer at Corsica’s Figari airport said, contrarily:

“We held her for about 45 minutes and had strong words.”

All good now though. Where will she be busted next?
