Alanis Morisette and Mario “Souleye” Treadway: Married!

Alanis Morissette neglected to mention on the American Idol season finale last week that she had just gotten MARRIED on May 22. The nerve of some people!

The Canadian singer married rapper Souleye, whose real name is Mario Treadway, in a quiet ceremony at their Los Angeles home. Congratulations to both!

This marks the second surprise wedding story of the day, following news that Kathryn Rogers and Rush Limbaugh tied the knot over the weekend in Florida.

“So happy to share with you that my man, Souleye, and I got married,” Alanis wrote on Facebook. “We’re very excited to embark on this journey with each other.”

Alanis Morisette is now Mrs. Mario Treadway!

It is the first marriage for the pair, who have been dating since 2009. Alanis was previously engaged to Ryan Reynolds, who married to Scarlett Johansson.

She was also in a relationship with Dave Coulier of Full House fame. Uncle Joey is believed to be the guy whose behavior inspired Alanis’ “You Oughta Know.”

Kathryn Rogers Marries Rush Limbaugh; Elton John Performs at Couple’s Wedding!


Conservative commentator Rush Limbaugh is a married man again, and outspoken gay rights advocate Elton John helped ring in his wedding to Kathryn Rogers!

Elton serenaded the 400 guests into the wee hours Saturday night to celebrate the marriage of Limbaugh and Rogers at the Breakers hotel in Palm Beach, Fla.

The couple met six years ago, while Kathryn Rogers, 33, was running a charity golf tournament and Rush Limbaugh, 59, was going through his third divorce.

The Palm Beach Post reports that guests included Karl Rove, Fred Thompson, George Brett, Sean Hannity, Rudy Giuliani, James Carville and Clarence Thomas.

Elton John, however, was perhaps the most notable, given his ideological differences with Rush. Then again, his $1 million fee for the evening goes a long way.

ODD COUPLE: Can’t say we saw this ne coming.

A million bucks is pretty steep, but did Rush and Kathryn get a discount? Reuters says that of all wedding singers, John is among the most expensive worldwide.

The music icon charges up to “$2 million for private performances, with all earnings from private concerts going to his charity, the Elton John AIDS Foundation.”

Yes, his AIDS foundation. Remember last October 2009, when Limbaugh compared the disease to swine flu in the way both were being “hyped”? That crazy Rush.

Or in 2007, when Limbaugh said other, equally incorrect, equally reprehensible things about AIDS? Elton John could have charged the full $2 million, you’d think.

Anyway, congratulations to Rush and Kathryn Rogers! Hopefully she sticks around the radio magnate longer than his previous three wives, and he’s feeling better.

MTV Movie Awards Fashion Face-Off: Kristen Stewart vs. Vanessa Hudgens


In many ways, Kristen Stewart stole the show at last night’s MTV Movie Awards.

Or, to be specific, her lips stole the show, as Kristen and Robert Pattinson made out on stage.

But Stewart wasn’t the only young, beautiful actress on hand at the event. Former High School Musical star Vanessa Hudgens also graced the red carpet, showing up with boyfriend Zac Efron.

That hunky star isn’t pictured below, but Stewart and Hudgens are matched up against each other in our latest edition of the THG Fashion Face-Off. Who do you think looked prettier on the red carpet?

Secret Glee spoilers!


With Glee’s season finale airing this week, fans (or Gleeks) of the Fox hit are dying to know: How will it all end? Executive producer and writer Ryan Murphy is already looking forward to next fall. “Quinn gives birth in the finale, so that’s a big thing. But the question is, what happens to the baby? That’s one of the cliff-hangers,” Murphy told In Touch at the 9th Annual Chrysalis Butterfly Ball in Brentwood, Calif., on June 5. The cheerleader was planning to give her daughter (with fellow glee-club member Puck) up for adoption — but perhaps she has a change of heart? Fans won’t find out until after the summer, when they can also expect serious fireworks. Murphy calls the first four episodes “as big as the Madonna episode! Big, big, big! We plan to be coming out of the gate really big!” One hint? Jennifer Lopez will join the list of prestigious guest stars like Neil Patrick Harris, Olivia Newton-John and Josh Groban. “J. Lo will be on the show!” Murphy announced. The Glee mastermind also added that he “loves the idea” of doing a tribute episode to Britney Spears, in spite of co-star Matthew Morrison’s comments about hoping the show “doesn’t go along that route” (Matthew later denied having made the comment).

Less than three months after her world came crashing down, Sandra Bullock looked better than ever in her first public appearances since her estranged husband’s cheating scandal. The Oscar winner, looking sexy in a tight leather dress, first took the stage at the 2010 Spike Guys Choice awards to accept the Troops Choice award for Entertainer of the Year on June 5. Despite the devastation she reportedly felt when In Touch broke the news of Jesse James’ affair with a tattoo model in March, Sandra addressed the volatile end of her nearly five-year marriage with humor. “Let’s be honest here — just for a moment, we’re all going to be honest, right? Did I win this for being entertainer of the year, or did I win this because of the spectacular I.E.D. explosion that became my personal life?” she addressed the cheering crowd in a speech that will air on Spike TV on June 20. The next evening, Sandra again charmed the audience when she took home the MTV Generation Award — presented by fellow stars Betty White, Bradley Cooper and Scarlett Johansson — at the MTV Movie Awards. “I’m not going anywhere!” the Blind Side actress said in response to rumors that she will leave the entertainment industry. She then shocked viewers by planting a smooch on her good pal Scarlett!

Kendra Wilkinson on Sex Tape: So Embarrassing!


How humiliated is Kendra Wilkinson over the release of her sex tape?

So humiliated that she’s only given two interviews regarding it!

Following some of the best acting she’s ever done on her E! reality show last month, as she pretended to be heartbroken over the existence of Kendra Exposed, Mrs. Hank Baskett has sat down with Ryan Seacrest and reiterated her phony stance on the video.

“It’s extremely embarrassing,” she says of the footage featuring her 18-year-old self with an ex-boyfriend. “I am a very open person, I am very honest about my life, but a sex tape was definitely not what I wanted in my life.”

Pouring on her crocodile tears, Kendra added:

“It just had to come out now when I finally cleaned up my life. It wasn’t for anybody else’s eyes to see except for ours.”

T.I. Diddy. It’s a clash of rapping titans and music moguls in this latest fashion clash from the MTV Movie Awards – and to the winner goes all the glory.

To the loser? Possibly a flurry bullets to the chest. Just kidding.

Hey, it’s a fact that T.I. just served time in prison for possession of semiautomatic weapons. But he’s halfway-housin’ it now, and looking rather dapper.

Diddy, meanwhile, opted for a more casual look on Sunday night as he promoted his new film with Russell Brand and Jonah Hill, Get Him to the Greek.

When Jersey Shore stars collide in a style showdown at the MTV Movie Awards, there’s no telling who will prevail – or what ridiculous clothes they’ll put on.

Now, it’s the ladies’ turn. One cast member is Amazonian-like with ginormous fake breasts. The other? A 4’8″ Oompa Loompa, complete with dark orange hue.

If the MTV Movie Awards were essentially the Twilight Awards (thank you, Robsten kiss), then Jersey Shore was a close second. Those peeps were everywhere.

Simon Cowell to Stage World’s Got Talent


The dreams of Simon Cowell are about to come true.

No, he won’t be tar and feathering Ryan Seacrest.

Instead, the American Idol judge will be staging World’s Got Talent some time in 2011, a reality show that will bring together a number of acts from across the globe.

Simply the Man

The event will be held at London’s Royal Albert Hall, as sources say Simon has wanted to do the competition since 2007, when Britain’s Got Talent first aired.

“This has been Simon’s dream. It will be the biggest reality show the world’s seen,” said an insider.

The most well-known act to come out of Britain Got Talent, of course, is Susan Boyle. She’s sold millions of albums worldwide. Winners from similar shows around the world have included opera singers, contortionists, circus performers and dance groups.

Jason Wahler Arrested (This is a New Story)


Isn’t it time Jason Wahler did time?

Seriously, how many arrests can one person endure before they stop getting second chances and actually pay the price for inexcusable, illegal behavior?

Don’t answer that, DMX.

In any case, the reality TV train wreck best known for somehow convincing Lauren Conrad to sleep with him and starring on Laguna Beach and The Hills, was busted allegedly striking a woman at a Hollywood party early Sunday.

Like we said, prison is calling.

This is at least the seventh time we have written about this giant tool being arrested. While entertaining for awhile, it stops being funny when the crime is hitting a girl.

Jason Wahler was taken into custody about 1:45 a.m. and booked on a charge of misdemeanor battery hours later. He’s currently being held on $20,000 bail.

Earlier this year, Jason was arrested for DUI – twice, in as many countries, in the span of a month. He was already on probation for God only knows what else.

Guy’s past transgressions range from excessive drinking to assaulting a tow truck driver to disorderly conduct in a hotel lobby and all sorts of other bad stuff.

A rep for Wahler could not be reached for comment. Most likely because we suspect that rep will be severing all ties with Wahler for good any second now.

At least we would hope so.
