After surviving a life-threatening brain hemorrhage, a subsequent stroke and the discovery of a hole in his heart, rocker Bret Michaels won Celebrity Apprentice — and now he wants to rock. “You have no idea how much I want to throw down and party right now!” admitted Bret, who went against doctor’s wishes to attend Sunday night’s live finale. “I want to throw a Rock Of Love-style party right at this moment, but I think I’m gong to have to just hang out with friends and be a little low-key, unfortunately.” The 47-year-old Poison singer, who won $250,000 for his charity, the American Diabetes Association, admits that resting doesn’t come easily to him. “Doctors don’t want me to go [on tour] at all right now, at least for a couple of weeks to a month, but I want to go this weekend! And we’re going to see what happens” he confesses.” “I’m gonna try to rest. My energy is so up right now. I wanna go rock right now. I’m ready to party, but I’m feeling a little a beat up… Celebrity Apprentice is the hardest thing I’ve ever done. They have you up at like 4 or 5 in the morning — it’s crazy. It’s not harder then coming near death, but it’s close!”

How did Brittany Murphy’s husband suddenly die just months after the actress herself succumbed to cardiac arrest at her Los Angeles home at age 32?

Law enforcement sources say there are signs that an accidental overdose of prescription drugs may have left Simon Monjack dead at home last night.

There is no official word yet, but a well-placed source says, “There were a number of pill bottles on the nightstand in the bedroom; some were empty.”

This is clearly and eerily similar to the death of Monjack’s wife, Brittany Murphy, in December, after which an array of prescription drugs were found.

On the nightstand of the same bedroom where Monjack died, no less.

Many of the drugs on Simon Monjack’s nightstand were the same as the ones found after Brittany died, too. But the actress’ death was ruled natural.

One law enforcement source says that the two causes of death that seem most plausible right now are both “natural” and “accidental drug overdose.”

Monjack suffered a heart attack during a November incident when he had a medical emergency aboard an airplane and paramedics met him at LAX.

Brittany’s mother, Sharon Murphy, discovered Monjack’s body. Sharon was also the one who found her daughter, Brittany, unconscious in December.

Those close to Monjack never recovered from the death of his wife. Sources say he was often unshaven and had gained considerable weight since.

He repeatedly and very publicly decried reports that hinted his widow died of a drug overdose and described living every day without her as painful.

The 39-year-old made a fortune trading currency but his wealth brought him little comfort. A source who knew Simon Monjack well told Radar Online:

“In past months he didn’t feel well. He never told me exactly why but he was having physical problems as well as being emotionally devastated.”

Just five months after the sudden death of his wife, Brittany Murphy, Simon Monjack died on May 23 in their LA home. He was 39. According to reports, he was found by his mother-in-law, Sharon, who called for help, but he was pronounced dead at the scene, apparently of natural causes. “My world was destroyed,” he said on December 21, the day after Brittany died at 32 of pneumonia, complicated by anemia and multiple drug intoxication.

In a newly-released preview of his tearful interview with ABC, Jesse James says he still loves estranged wife Sandra Bullock despite repeatedly cheating on her.

Asked by ABC’s Vicki Mabrey how he could cheat on Sandy, James said “it’s hard for me to talk about, a little bit, because I still really love and care about her.”

“I’ve spent my whole life with her, with the kids, trying to protect her from everything, but the most hurt she’s ever been caused is by the person that wanted to protect her – it’s terrible, and she’s going to be hurt for a long time.”

James said that at one point, he was so wrought with guilt, he was actually hoping he’d be outed for cheating with Michelle McGee and other gross chicks.

“When I was doing it, you know, one, I knew it was horrible, it made me feel horrible,” James confessed. “And two, I knew I would get caught eventually, and I think that I wanted to get caught. I know for a fact now what it was, you know.”

“I mean, this was me trying to self-sabotage my life.”

James says he wants to set the record straight (about Nazi photos and such, not just Bullock), and that the public has been harder on him than Sandra has.

Other topics covered in the piece, according to the network, include James explaining his past, what compelled him to cheat on Bullock, what he learned in sex addiction rehab and what, if any, role he will play in baby Louis’ upbringing.

Who will Ali Fedotowsky choose to spend the rest of her life with?

We begin to answer that question this evening on the sixth season premiere of The Bachelorette as 25 aspiring trophy husbands compete for air time her affection.

If The Bachelorette spoilers, based on reliable intel, are to be believed, we already know who her final two suitors are … but more on that in just a moment.

Regardless, it should be a wild ride for Ali Fedotowsky, the beautiful, energetic and charismatic career-oriented woman who has at last “re-prioritized her life.”

The whole “I’m choosing my career” thing was likely a ploy to get out of marrying Jake Pavelka and land this gig, but either way, the soul mate search is on!

Beautiful Ali Fedotowsky and host-pimp Chris Harrison are ready to tag-team The Bachelorette starting tonight. Tag-team it in a manner of speaking, of course.

Her quest won’t disappoint conflict-hungry fans: “There is definitely a bit of drama,” Ali said. “Rumors are rumors. Whether there is truth to them, I can’t say.”

“There was a lot of emotion, good and bad.”

Chris Lambton was a high school teacher who left teaching in NYC to return home to take care of his ailing mother, who died in 2008. He lives on Cape Cod.

He is said to be a good guy who is wary of telling Ali Fedotowsky his story because he doesn’t want sympathy, but rather to have her like him for who he is.

A graduate of Providence College, Chris Lambton is 33 and taught public school for about a decade before the aforementioned return to Massachusetts.

Ali is also from the Bay State! Will that give Chris an edge?!

Not if Roberto Martinez has anything to say about it. The 26-year-old insurance agent is rumored to be the other gentleman in Ali’s final two with Chris.

It’s also been said that he was a pro baseball player at some point, but that could be complete BS … or some other Roberto Martinez. You never can tell.

While endlessly entertaining, The Bachelorette will embellish any “back story” or conflict to generate ratings, so you can’t really believe what you’re told.

Venus Williams coasted to a 6-3, 6-3 victory against Patty Schnyder in the first round of the French Open this weekend.

But the tennis great’s powerful serve and winning forehand aren’t what has the online community buzzing this morning.

Instead, all talk centers around the black and red, tutu-like dress this legend wore on the court, which covered flesh-toned underwear often spotted by anyone paying close attention when Venus went for an overhead smash.

It was really more of a corset than typical tennis attire:

The part-time designer said the look is “about illusion, which represents “a lot of my motif this year.”

In his music video for “If I Had You,” Adam Lambert combines the worlds of Willy Wonka with Thriller and Interview with the Vampire.

Sounds about right for the flamboyant artist, doesn’t it?

But Lambert toned his look down a bit for a performance on The Tonight Show Friday evening, merely donning a pair of zebra-inspired pants for a rendition of this same single. Judge them for yourself now:

Over the past couple weeks, Lambert has appeared at charity event that raised money to fight AIDS; taken part in a concert sponsored by KISS-FM in Los Angeles; been interviewed by Ellen DeGeneres; and come down with a slight case of Bieber Fever.

We hope he’s feeling better because there’s a tour of North America to go this summer!

The Hills star Audrina Patridge appears in the new issue of Ralph magazine. As expected, the California girl dons little or no clothing on the cover or inside.

Little else needs to be said in all honesty.

Ralph terms her Queen of The Hills, which implies Ralph doesn’t watch the show, as Audrina is kind of useless. Then again, that actually speaks well of Ralph.

Hmm. Either this racy photo shoot was a direct ripoff of Maxim’s topless spread of Audrina last September, or Ralph and Maxim have the same parent company.

Not all viewers believe this season of American Idol has been a bore.

But we can all agree on one thing: it’s been far less nutty than seasons past.

That’s because Paula Abdul couldn’t reach a new contract with Fox last August and walked away from the show. However, there’s good news on the slightly insane judge front: Abdul is returning to reality TV!

She’ll serve as producer and lead judge on Got to Dance, a CBS competition that premieres in early 2010. According to a press release, the series will cover everything from “ballroom to break dance, bhangra to ballet, and tap to tango.”

Rambling, incoherent critiques and a lot of comments on the contestants’ outfits? Don’t worry: Paula will have all that covered, too.

Chris Brown’s “Deuces” has just dropped. As in the video from Chris, protégé Tyga and Kevin McCall. You might even say Chris Brown dropped a deuce on fans.

The newly-released song is from a collaborative mixtape, Fan of a Fan, which is both artists’ dedication back to the fans (it came out online this past week).

As for the meaning of the title? “‘Deuces,’ it’s about you getting rid of this girl. You try to make it work, but you gotta move on,” Tyga explained to MTV.

“So you basically put up one finger, then another and say, ‘Deuces.’”

Sweet. Whatever the hell that means. Peep it and vote below …
