Alexis Neiers, alleged member of the Bling Ring — a gang of teenagers who are accused of burglarizing celebrities’ homes’ in Hollywood — is going to jail. The 18-year-old’s trial for felony burglary of Orlando Bloom‘s house last July was the focus of the E! reality show, Pretty Wild. Prosecutors believe the fact that Orlando was willing to testify helped them reach a deal with Alexis, in which she agreed to plead no contest to the charge. She was sentenced to six months’ time in county jail and three years of probation. Three other members of the Bling Ring, which allegedly stole more than $3 million in luxury goods from the likes of Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan, Rachel Bilson, Megan Fox and Audrina Patridge, have not yet gone to trial. Alexis will have a lot to think about when she begins serving her sentence on June 24. “I’m a firm believer in Karma and I think this situation was attracted into my life because it was supposed to be a huge learning lesson for me to grow and expand as a spiritual human being,” the aspiring star has said. “I see myself being like an Angelina Jolie, but even stronger, pushing even harder for the universe and for peace and for the health of our planet. God didn’t give me these talents and looks to just sit around being a model or being famous.”

Is Lea Michele even more of a diva than her Glee character? The starlet is trying to save face after reportedly snubbing celebrity photographer Patrick McMullan at the Time 100 gala in NYC last week. Supposedly, Patrick took her picture and then asked her name — to which she sarcastically responded that she was Sarah Palin, then Taylor Swift. “Big apology to @Patrick McMullan. Totally didn’t expect you (or anyone) @Time 100 to know who I was,” Lea wrote on Twitter. “Made a silly joke that didn’t go over, so sorry.”

Playboy has bad news for its readers: It’s gonna be hard to claim you purchase this magazine solely for the articles.

That’s because Hugh Hefner and company have come up with a novel approach to nudity, starting with the June issue that goes on sale this Friday: three dimensions of nakedness!

Indeed, Playmate of the Year Hope Dworaczyk (yes, that Hope Dworaczyk, the same woman that had an affair with NBA legend Jason Kidd) is featured on the magazine’s cover in nothing but black lingerie. Inside is a 3D centerfold shot of her.

In a word: Oooga!

Dworaczyk also posed for Playboy in April 2009, but this is an entirely new dimension of modeling. Literally!

What made Hefner follow the lead of Avatar, Clash of the Titans and pretty much big budget film going forward? The magazine’s circulation has dropped from 3.5 million to 1.5 million over the last three years, so Hugh wondered:

“What would people most like to see in 3-D? Probably a naked lady.”

Give the man credit: he’s old, but his brain clearly still works.

Country hotties Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert are engaged! He popped the question May 9 – and in classy fashion for a self-proclaimed “hillbilly” singer.

“He called my dad and got his blessing first,” Lambert told People of her boyfriend of five years. “That was so Southern and old-school and just perfect.”

Equally perfect: The diamond-and-platinum ring he picked out.

“I was so proud of him,” says Lambert. “He knew exactly what I would’ve wanted but it’s so much more perfect than I could have picked out myself.”

The setting for the proposal was distinctly down-home – in the woods near Lambert’s Tishomingo, Okla., home, followed by a similarly informal party.

The engagement is yet another high point in a stellar year for Lambert, who in January scored her first No. 1 single with “White Liar” and in April won Album of the Year and Top Female Vocalist at the ACM Awards.

Thanks to Betty White, the May 8 edition of Saturday Night Live posted the show’s highest ratings in 18 months.

That hilarious hosting gig came about as the result of a passionate group of White supporters on Facebook, who created a group that pressured NBC to consider the actress.

Now, fans of White are at it again: the Facebook page “Getting Betty White to Host the Academy Awards” has amassed over 6,000 followers since launching Sunday night.

Not shabby support for an 88-year old former sitcom star. But will it enough to land her the job?

Alec Baldwin and Steve Martin served as co-hosts of last year’s ceremony. Though each made us laugh a bunch of times, let’s be honest: Oscar fashion has become a hotter topic than anything related to the ceremony itself.

Choosing White as next year’s MC would go a long way toward changing that.

She has teamed up with disneyfamily.com to launch gethatched.com, a new website for women. “We wanted to reach out to help women feel empowered from a whole point of view, rather than just defining them as a mom. So, we got to feel like that was a good fit for me and the stories I’ve lived and the stories I want to tell. Fist pump with Ronnie, Vinny, Pauly D and The Situation while you can.

With Season 2 just months away, Jersey Shore’s casting director recently admitted to Blackbook magazine that the entire cast will be replaced for the third season.

Snooki, J-Woww, Sammi and the guys demanded a big pay raise after the first season became MTV’s biggest series. They got it … but apparently for one year only.

Now a new cast of meathead characters will be ushered in come 2011.

Jersey Shore Season 2 will be Snooki’s swan song.

One cast member who won’t be too bummed to be off the show: J-Woww (Jenni Farley), who “cried her eyes out” when she found out the series had been renewed.

“She doesn’t want to be on the show anymore,” a source dished to Us Weekly. The problem? Her fellow castmates. “She isn’t friends with them,” an insider says.

Well, except one. “She and Snooki are really close.” That’s nice at least. As for the rest of them, they’ll be partying ways for good this year. Does anyone care?

It’s one thing to have the support of your parents.

It’s another thing to have the support of your parents when you’re grinding with a stripper pole and then with a group of caged guys in a music video.

First, Billy Ray Cyrus assesed his daughter’s controversial pole dance at the 2009 Teen Choice Awards by simply saying Miley “loves entertaining people.”

Now, he apparently sees no problem with Miley prancing around in a provocative outfit and sexing it up with a bunch of guys in her video for “Can’t Be Tamed.”

“My dad loves it,” the former Disney star told MTV News of the video. “[He] was thinking I was a little crazy while I was writing it because when you’re hearing ‘feathers coming out of your hands,’ [you think] ‘oh wow, looks crazy!’

“[But] they were so proud of the treatment that I came up for it.”

Fan reaction to the video has been mixed. Some are happy to see Miley embracing a provocative, mature side; others believe she’s setting a bad example for her young fan base.

It’s no shock that Billy Ray is on Miley’s side, though. This is the same father that let his nine-year old daughter walk the red carpet in THIS OUTFIT.

Tiger and Elin Woods’ divorce, while not official yet, is reportedly in the works, and will be banged out hard and fast … insert obligatory Joslyn James joke here.

The golfer and his estranged wife are trying to strike agreements on custody and division of assets. Once they do, they’ll quietly and quickly file divorce papers.

This according to sources very familiar with the situation.

Not surprisingly, the important thing for both Tiger and Elin Woods, aside from equitable sharing of their kids, is keeping the terms of the divorce confidential. 

Tiger Woods has a divorce lawyer team working on this, including West Palm Beach lawyer Thomas Sasser, an expert in child custody in multiple jurisdictions.

His goals? Privacy and keeping his legal options open.

Elin and Tiger Woods’ divorce looks inevitable at this point.

One of the options is to actually file for divorce in Sweden, where Elin wants to move with the kids. Tiger would have to submit to the jurisdiction of the court.

Wherever the divorce is filed, the plan is to take whatever measures are necessary to keep the custody and property settlement agreements out of court files.

The quicker and quieter the divorce, the better.

The big issue, according to insiders, is that Tiger wants either custody or visitation, and assurance that he can go to court and enforce the deal if Elin violates it. 

Tiger wants the option to go to either a Swedish or American court to enforce whatever custody agreement is in place, should Elin Nordegren Woods break it.

As of right now, the couple has not reached agreement on any of the major issues … don’t expect a huge press release to be sent out when and if they do.
