With a divorce and other high-profile splits behind her, Jessica Simpson is still optimistic about love. “I can find love anywhere!” she told In Touch at the Operation Smile Gala in New York on May 6. The blond beauty, who broke up with longtime beau Tony Romo last year, isn’t nervous about turning 30 this summer as a single lady.
“I’ve experienced a lot in my twentie,” she said. “I feel old in a lot of ways, but I can’t wait to see what happens next!” Jessica’s best friend and Price of Beauty co-star, hairstylist Ken Paves, gushed about her big heart. “She’ll do anything for anybody. Even if you cross her the wrong way she’ll still help you out,” he told In Touch. At the swanky soiree, longtime Operation Smile collaborator Jessica proudly posed with Meena, an Indian girl who received surgery to fix a cleft palate thanks to the star and the charity.

Taylor Swift isn’t just a big star — she also has a big heart. The singing sweetheart is donating $500,000 to her hometown of Nashville, Tenn., to help repair the country music mecca, which has been devastated by flooding. “Being at home during the storm, I honestly could not believe what was happening to the city and the people I love so dearly,” an emotional Taylor said. Fellow Nashville resident and pop star Ke$ha is also helping out in the relief efforts, hosting a benefit concert on June 16 in the city. Unrelenting rain waters ravaged Nashville last weekend, leaving more than 30 people dead and $1 billion in expected damage.

In this especially cutthroat season of Survivor, Danielle DiLorenzo was in the only solid alliance left, with Russell and Parvati — but when Russell felt threatened by the close relationship between the women, he conspired to pit them against each other. Though they didn’t fall for his tricks, Russell’s constant manipulations led to Danielle’s breakdown at Tribal Council. “That whole day was so stressful. I was mentally exhausted and hurt,” she tells In Touch. “Russell was really getting in our heads and convincing us that we were turning on each other and I got really upset. I’m human and I let my emotions take over. I had to give him a piece of my mind and let him know how I felt and let everybody know how big of a liar he is because he’s just ruthless. My plan was to get him off next and I think he was threatened by me.” Unfortunately, Russell had immunity, so her outburst only solidified his plan to get rid of her. The last two Heroes jumped at the chance to help even the playing field, and Danielle was sent home.

Candice Woodcock was never able to gain the trust from her teammates, who accused her of being wishy-washy — and she proved them right when she switched alliances and helped the remaining Villains vote off Amanda last week. “It’s tough to trust anybody in this game, and I didn’t feel like anybody trusted me to begin with. The Heroes were suspicious of me from day one. No one really wanted much to do with me. They didn’t allow me to even play the game,” she tells In Touch, adding that she also felt pressured to side with the Villains, because of their bullying leader. “Russell threatens people,” she says. “I felt like I had to be careful with how much I resisted him.” But she should have, because this week, karma ended up getting her in the first of two eliminations of the night.

What does Oprah Winfrey have to do with the status of Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart? Allow us to explain:
These two have already taped their appearance on Oprah’s talk show (it will air on May 13, Robert’s birthday! Eek!). Prior to taking the stage, as usual, the guests met with the host and went over what questions will be asked in front of the studio audience.
Winfrey warned that the topic of Rob and Kristen’s relationship would come up. She had to “go there.” But she’d allow the couple to be coy with their answer (they actually joke about Kristen being pregnant on the air) as long as they gave Oprah the actual answer off camera.
“Both Rob and Kristen’s people and Summit then confirmed ahead of time [Rob and Kristen] are together and are dating. One hundred percent,” a source told E! News.
This should close the case of Robsten forever. After all, who lies to Oprah?!?
As for the interaction between the love birds, this same insider revealed: “They weren’t super affectionate or anything. Kristen seemed a little awkward and nervous, but Rob didn’t at all. He was really friendly and was cracking jokes the entire time.”
Sounds like the personalities of each star that other sources have also confirmed. Will you tune in for their appearance on Oprah? Or, here’s a better question:

We understand if traffic is low on THG today.
It’s the opening of Iron Man 2, after all, and millions of people will be flocking to their local movie theater. One person we have to blame for that is Scarlett Johansson.
The ridiculously sexy actress comes aboard the franchise in the sequel, taking on the role of Black Widow. How would she describe this individual?
“This is a no-bulls–t character,” Scarlett says in the latest issue of V. “It’s not that she’s non-feeling, she just gets the job done. She’s part of something bigger, and she knows it. She’s this crazy badass, and she has no time for f–king around.”
How does the role fit into Johansson’s career goals going forward?
“I’m 25, and for some time I’ve played these characters who are kind of figuring it out, transforming from young girls to young women… I don’t feel like a girl anymore. I feel like my life and career are on a different path than they had been. There’s a lot of road behind me… I really want to do work that is challenging to me.”
We think that makes sense. But we pretty much stopped paying attention as soon as we saw the photos of Scarlett in the magazine. Is she topless in one of the pics below?!?

If you thought Lady Gaga‘s performance on Wednesday night’s American Idol results show seemed more bizarre — and sleepy — than usual, you’re not alone: Gaga herself is steaming mad! “FOX POORLY + AMATEURLY edited+cut my performance/musical arrangement on idol” Gaga wrote on Twitter, also noting that the show cut her act, which was taped in front of the studio audience after Tuesday’s live show, in four places. It’s a shame, says an insider. “Gaga worked hard on the performance, rehearsing and stage blocking till 9 on Tues night after the Idol performance show. She also worked hard on her dancing for this one,” the insider tells In Touch, adding that the performance, as originally conceived, would have blown minds. “It was to be quite the blood-splattered epic,” the insider tells In Touch, adding that it was expected to cause “some Madonna-esque backlash a la ‘Like A Prayer,’ as it had a lot of religious overtones and ends with her covered in blood and being put into a fountain to be cleansed. Also, the male/male dancing might have caused quite a stir.” Unfortunately Gaga’s version ran over six minutes, so Idol — which often runs late anyway because of the live portions of the show — simply cut it out.

Let’s get one thing straight: Kristen Stewart is not miserable!
She makes that important point in the latest issue of Elle, and she recently shared another reason why she’s actually happier than ever: the actress has landed a key new movie role.
“I am very much attached to a movie that has been trying to get made forever… maybe I can just brag a little bit. I am super excited about it, too. I am about to play Marylou in On the Road. So that’s a big deal,” she told USA Today this week.
The film will be based on Jack Kerouac’s classic 1957 novel, which tells the tale of disaffected members of the Beat Generation.
Garrett Hedland and Sam Riley are also attached to the project.
In other semi-Stewart news: the name Isabella is officially the most popular baby name in the country. This is a clear sign that people love The Twilight Saga, and also might need to seek professional help.
