Sex Rehab With Dr. Drew‘s Kendra Jade is more than just a pretty face! The beauty and her husband, musician Lukas Rossi, (Rockstar: Supernova) are dedicated to saving homeless animals with their organization, Rockstar Rescue. Kendra tells In Touch “Every week, thousands of cats and dogs are dumped into shelters, and we give them a safe haven until we can find them permanent homes.” Most recently, supermodel Joanna Krupa and actress Denise Richards have also been doing their part to help out. They volunteer for the Best Friends group, and they go to the shelter and save senior and sick animals every week. “We all constantly Twitter about available animals” says Kendra.

Sad news out of Colombia today:

Lina Marulanda, a well-known local TV personality and model in that country, was found dead in northern Bogota today. She was 29.

Authorities in the area suspect the cause of death was suicide, as Marulanda reportedly jumped out the window of her apartment.

Lina started modeling when she was 12. Recently, she separated from her second husband and insiders say she was struggling with the failed relationship. The model was known in Colombia for appearing in fashion magazines and for hosting the news on Caracol television.

Marulanda graduated from the University Jorge Tadeo Spirited of Bogota. She made her debut as a news anchor in 2002.

Our thoughts go out to her family and loved ones.

Britney Spears. Glee. Her manager wants to make an all-Britney episode happen … or is just desperate for publicity and trying to leech off the hit series.

Whatever the motivation, Adam Leber is lobbying for a Glee-ful Britney bonanza, Tweeting: “Do you guys want to see a Britney Spears episode of GLEE?”

No word if this ploy will ultimately work.

The show definitely had a hit with its Madonna tribute, and a Lady Gaga episode is in the works (according to Glee spoilers we’ve read), but no Brit. Yet.

Not sure how we feel about this. Does Britney Spears really have an appropriate repertoire for the Glee club? It seems better in theory than actuality.

Then again, how can you not pay homage to this:

We’re on board as long as Lea Michele dresses like this.

With a lot of heart and plenty of soul (or just ’80s pop), the Fox series has become one of the year’s top freshman programs, so it’s hardly a surprise Madonna approved of its tribute to her Tuesday. What do you think? Should Britney be next?

Two years ago, Ashley Dupre – or “Kristen” as she was known to Eliot Spitzer – became embroiled in one of the biggest sex scandals ever, as the Governor of New York State was snared in a prostitution sting. He was Ashley’s client.

After removing herself from the spotlight, she’s back in a big way next month as Playboy‘s cover girl for May. Suffice it to say, she looks amazing.

Below, in an exclusive interview with The Hollywood Gossip, Ashley Dupre tells us:

• Why she took part in the world’s oldest profession
• Why she chose to bare all for the men’s magazine
• What she looks for in a man, and much more …

THG: Did you ever struggle with or question the morality of your past profession?

Ashley Dupre: I was young, I was stupid, and I’ve made a lot of mistakes. Going back to the profession after being out for 11 months (before I got caught) was the hardest thing that I’d ever had to do up until that point.

I was in a relationship during those 11 months, which helped me learn self worth and self respect. I had dreams and goals and I was living a normal life during that time. When the man I was dating left me after 11 months, he left me with debt and responsibilities above my means. In order for me to be able to pay off my debt and move out of my apt I had to go back to work for a little bit.

At that moment, I felt like I had too much self respect to return to that line of work, so it was hard for me to go back. I felt like I was above that. But I had to. So I did. Do I feel bad about what I was doing?  In a way, yes – I do take some responsibility. But at the end of the day, I was just doing my job.

THG: Without naming names, did you have any other famous clients besides #9?

Ashley Dupre: Maybe, maybe not. I do not kiss and tell.

THG: Why did you decide to pose nude for Playboy now, having turned down similar offers in the past?

Ashley Dupre: Playboy has been the number one men’s monthly magazine subscription for more than 55 years. Cindy Crawford, Brooke Burke, Pamela Anderson and Marilyn Monroe all graced the cover of Playboy, and I am honored to be next to [them].

My sex was being bought and sold, but in a different way through the media – half naked pictures of me were circling for a long time. Posing in Playboy was a way for me to reclaim my sexuality and take control of my image. This is the first time that I have had photo approval over any photos that are being released.

This is the first time that there are photos out there of me that were released with my permission. These photos are beautiful and I am so happy and proud to be affiliated with Playboy and to be part of the Playboy family!

THG: What was the most absurd piece of celebrity gossip written about you.

Ashley Dupre: Wow! Um, just ONE? Lol! That’s hard. There were a lot more than one! I can’t even remember. I have selective memory!

THG: Joe Francis: What a sleaze, are we right?

Ashley Dupre: Ummm, yes, I would have to agree with you.

THG: Are you still doing music at all?

Ashley Dupre: I am still working on my music. I’m also very realistic about where I’ve been and what I’ve gone through. I know that some people won’t take me seriously, so I need to show them who I am (rather than who they think I am) in order for them to take me seriously and give my music a chance. I know I have a lot of work ahead of me, but it’s been 2two years and I haven’t given up yet, so I doubt I will any time soon! I’m really committed to working hard on my music career and I hope things turn out well!

THG: Would you consider doing a reality dating show, a la A Shot at Love?

Ashley Dupre: LOL! I’m not sure, but I can tell you this much – I would not be making out on national television!

THG: Take us through a typical day for you.

Ashley Dupre: Well, I’m in LA now for a few months. It’s a nice change from New York! I just flew my dog Brooklyn back to LA with me, so, on a typical day, I wake up and walk him. Here’s what I do after that: have breakfast while I work on StilettoSuicide.com (my new blog), work on my New York Post advice column, catch up on emails, respond to my Twitter-bugs, go to the gym, jump on conference calls and take meetings/lunch meetings for some of the projects I’m working on, come home and walk Brooklyn, go to yoga, more conference calls, feed Brooklyn, have dinner with my friends, walk Brooklyn, and go to bed.

The one thing I do love about LA (among other things of course!) are the house parties and BBQs. We don’t really have that in NYC!

THG: What kinds of things do you look for in a man?

Ashley Dupre: I look for someone who thinks that all of my imperfections make me perfect, and someone who makes me overall a better woman.

THG: You’re a Garden State native. Which Jersey Shore cast member is hottest?

Ashley Dupre: LOL! Where I grew up, it’s nothing like the Jersey Shore on the show … the show totally gives Jersey a bad name! When I tell people that I’m from the Jersey Shore I find myself following it up with, “But it’s nothing like that show.” I must admit that watching the show is a guilty pleasure of mine, but I honestly haven’t watched it enough to know the character’s names. So, I’m not sure who is the hottest!

THG: Are you seeing anyone?

Ashley Dupre: Next question.

THG: Where do you see yourself in five years?

Ashley Dupre: Married. Maybe starting to think about having children. I know that what will bring me true happiness, and what will complete me as a woman is going to be my future husband and our family. I didn’t really have a great childhood or a really close family, so that is something that I crave. As far as work – I would love to see my New York Post advice column grow and I would love to see StilettoSuicide.com grow. I would love to help young girls who may be heading down a similar path as me and help parents communicate with their children. I would love to be known for anything other than what happened to me in 2008. I know I will never be able to erase what happened, but I hope to be able to show people who I am rather than who they think I am. I hope that I can work hard enough to ensure that my mistakes will not be what defines me.

In the latest issue of Flaunt magazine, Kristen Stewart admits she’s just like many girls her age.

Not because she smokes, though readers are still debating whether or not this makes her a bad role model.

Instead, the actress tells the publication that she can be as insecure as anyone, especially with the spotlight now on her.

“I definitely act differently. I’m definitely overcoming a lot of it. The only insecurity I’ve developed is just being overly paranoid about everyone looking at you when they’re not,” she says.

Stewart is also aware that she comes across as unfriendly. While Robert Pattinson knows the real Kristen, many others do not and this is why:

“I get defensive and that has probably perpetuated people’s idea of me never smiling. I kind of shake my leg too, so people think I’m always uncomfortable.”

In an attempt to let fans in more, Stewart explained her motivation behind choosing movies:

“Who knows what you’re going to connect with and then be able to live up to? I can’t just read a script and say it’s great because there’s a part for me, my age, perfect – I can’t live that life. You know what I mean? That’s just not me.”

American Idol gave back last night with its special Idol Gives Back two-
hour charity event, and with the help of a special appearance by President
Obama and the first lady, and guests including Sir Elton John, Carrie Underwood, Black Eyed Peas, Annie Lennox, Victoria Beckham, Morgan Freeman, Wanda Sykes, George Lopez, Queen Latifah and David Cook, $15 million was raised before the show’s end. In past Idol Gives Back specials, contestants were given a reprieve from the dreaded elimination, but not last night — Tim Urban was sent home.

“When I auditioned, I honestly didn’t think I would make it past the stadium,” said Tim afterward. “This whole thing has blown me away. It’s been a crazy run and I am just looking forward to the tour.”

Officers from the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department arrived at Lindsay Lohan’s apartment this afternoon to check on her little sister Ali Lohan’s welfare.

Accompanying the deputies? Their father, Michael Lohan!

M-Lo went to the Sheriff’s Department and said 16-year-old Ali Lohan was staying with Lindsay and that being said, he was concerned for her safety.

He convinced deputies to make a “welfare check” on Ali. Lindsay Tweeted that she’s pissed at building management for letting cops and Michael in.

Sources say Ali was in the apartment and deputies spoke with her before leaving and allowing the teen to remain with her older train wreck sister.

Not to be deterred, Michael is now going to the L.A. County Department of Children and Family Services, per advice from the Sheriff’s Department.

Michael made a “compelling case” to Sheriff’s deputies, saying Ali was in Lindsay’s car on the way back from Coachella and the car was going over 100 mph.

Not everyone is moved by his efforts, however. The girls’ mom and Lindsay’s chief enabler, Dina, wants Lindsay to get a restraining order against Michael. 

With the legitimacy of the Sheriff’s Dept. backing him this time, it’s unlikely it would stick. Still, Dina Lohan vows that “My ex could be in big trouble. He’s dangerous.”

“If he can’t get to them he is going to try to hurt them. It’s not good.”

Speaking with celeb gossip outlet TMZ after the incident, Michael steadfastly vowed to stay the course until Lindsay checks into rehab for substance abuse.

Michael says he will not leave L.A. “until Ali is removed from Lindsay’s home and has a normal life of a 16-year-old. Anywhere Lindsay goes, I’m bringing cops.”

The plot thickens! Should Linds heed her concerned dad’s warnings and get help, or should that jerk just butt out? Whose side are you on?

After Charlie Sheen was caught wearing a ridiculous costume and reportedly visiting his latest mistress, Angelina Tracy, Sheen’s rep explained his client’s seemingly shady actions:

The actor was simply helping a friend in need.

Now, someone actually backs up that claim: Tracy herself. The lingerie model lashed out at the media to The Daily News, telling that newspaper today:

“My interaction with Charlie has simply been rehab-related and we are just friends. I would like to make it crystal clear that I am not an escort. These allegations are completely fabricated and are extremely hurtful and damaging.”

Okay. So what was Sheen doing at your apartment earlier this month, Angelina?

“I was given flowers as a token of support because I have been going through a difficult time in my personal life, and he was only trying to cheer me up. The type of counseling that Charlie has given me is personal. But, I will say that he has helped me immensely, and I will be forever grateful to him.”

Sheen’s wife, Brooke Mueller, sees things differently, however. A source tells Radar Online that she spotted her husband out with a friend of Tracy’s a few weeks ago.

“Brooke saw hotel keys and even saw them in the same place together once,” said the insider. “But Charlie just denies everything. They had a huge fight. She knew he was cheating on her.”

Since then, Sheen has possibly quit Two and a Half Men and definitely shaved his head. We may need to call in Britney Spears for an intervention from someone that can relate.

Rachel Uchitel, the O.G. Tiger Woods mistress, has been hitting a Vegas dance studio, reportedly in preparation for – you know it! – Dancing with the Stars.

That would trump Kate Gosselin tenfold on the stunt casting scale. What’s her title, Rachel Uchitel, Tiger Woods (and David Boreanaz) Home Wrecker?

This rumor has not been confirmed by ABC, however, so take it with a grain of salt. Also, we’ve learned Rache has other, more entrepreneurial plans.

Her own reality dating show.

Rachel Uchitel, two producers and an agent have gone to four different cable networks, pitching a show called – yes, we’re serious – “Romancing Rachel.” 

NO SHAME: Rachel Uchitel plots her next move(s).

The premise? Rache has a hard time meeting guys, thanks to recent events. Hey, it’s hard out there for a home-wrecking, money-grubbing mistress!

Guys – hopefully not married ones – will court her on the show, which Uchitel has pitched to E!, VH1, Oxygen and Lifetime. Lifetime and E! passed.

VH1 (to the surprise of no one) and Oxygen are still in play, and one of the producers is Scott Jeffress (Jersey Shore, The Bachelor), so who knows.

What absolute trash. Her going dancing is one thing, but who would consider watching this?! Oh, who are we kidding, we’re in. On one condition, that is:

It’s a good thing Ryan Phillippe, along with Will Forte and Kristen Wiig — his co-stars in the upcoming action comedy MacGruber — were at the Izod Center in East Rutherford, N.J., on April 19 to guest-host WWE’s Monday Night Raw, because many of Raw’s competitors were stranded overseas and unable to make it. So when Russian wrestler Vladimir Kozlov offended the crowd by insulting Americans and the Garden State, the MacGruber stars didn’t let him get away with it: Ryan and Will sent him fleeing for the exit! Later, Ryan picked up some John Cena gear for 6-year-old son Deacon and checked in on daughter Ava, 10, who was feeling under the weather. While starring in the movie built off of an Saturday Night Live sketch seems like a departure for the serious actor, he recently told Men’s Health that he’s changed a lot as he’s gotten older. “If you’re fearful and you’re closing yourself off from potentially wonderful or beautiful additions to your life, that’s not going to lead anywhere positive,” he said. “And there’s a maturation that takes place once you have children and have to put food on the table. You don’t cling to those ideals of your youth so much, because that can trap you on a hard road.”
