Earlier this week, Jim Carrey and Jenny McCarthy broke up, ending a five-year relationship.

It looks like the comedian has no interest in starting a new one any time soon, considering his take on the Tiger Woods scandal.

First, he Tweeted a relatively harmless joke on Thursday, writing: “I think it’s time we checked our collective EGO and let the guy play! If you really wanna see sexual disfunction get 2 know your favorite basketball star! Curling is the only safe sport 4 a married man.”

There’s certainly truth to that statement, as almost every world famous athlete – from Alex Rodriguez to Muhammad Ali to Kobe Bryant to Michael Jordan – has cheated on his wife.

But this is where Carrey may have lost his female fan base:

“No wife is blind enough to miss that much infidelity,” he later Tweeted. “Elin had 2 b a willing participant on the ride 4 whatever reason. kids/lifestyle ;^)”

We’ll never know the truth, of course, but Elin’s reaction has been anything but one of acquiescence. Unlike jilted spouses such as Vanessa Bryant and Jenny Sanford, she didn’t sit next to her husband during his apologetic press conference.

She isn’t at The Masters, hasn’t worn her wedding ring in months and totally won’t put out for Tiger.

There’s also a decent chance she hit him in the face with a golf club upon learning about Rachel Uchitel. You might wanna sleep with one eye open, Jim!

Lin Yu Chun Speaks Out: Just Be Yourself!


Almost a year to the day after Susan Boyle burst on to the global scene, Lin Yu Chun has taken the baton as the Next, Great, Unexpected Singer to Be Discovered on a Reality Show.

The 24-year old from Taiwan auditioned for that nation’s version of American Idol with a rendition of “I Will Always Love You” that you need to hear to believe.

Let’s just say its a whole lot better than anything Whitney Houston sings these days.

After receiving such acclaim for his performance, Chun spoke to The Associated Press about his life:

“I now have more confidence in pursuing a singing career. You don’t have to be a good-looking man or woman to succeed. Just be yourself and try your best.”

Lin said he suffered from a lack of self-esteem growing up because “being fat draws a lot of mockery in our society.

However, those difficult times helped the aspiring singer hone his talent: to cope with taunts from peers, Chun locked himself in his room and sang along to hits by Celine Dion and Mariah Carey.

But he loved Houston’s take on the famous Dolly Parton classic the best: “I played it again and again even though my parents couldn’t stand it anymore and asked me to stop,” Lin said of the single that’s made him famous.

His audition has already earned over 1.3 million views on YouTube and if Chun wins the competition, he’ll pocket a well-deserved $1 million. Go get ‘em, Lin!

Source: Michelle McGee Also Nailed Carey Hart


Looks like we’re dealing with a serial adulterous Nazi. Before her affair with Jesse James, Michelle “Bombshell” McGee bedded Pink’s husband Carey Hart.

She apparently has a type: Married, tattooed and into bikes.

“I knew all about her fling with Carey Hart, because Michelle told me that she had slept with him,” McGee’s ex-husband, Shane Modica, revealed.

“They met and she flew out to Las Vegas to see him but she was upset that they never got to spend as much time together as she expected to.”

A source close to Pink and Hart also says Hart and Michelle “Bombshell” McGee met at the ASR convention in San Diego back in September 2008.

Afterward, they hooked up at a private house. Much like getting nailed by James in his office right after meeting him, woman does not waste time.

NEW BOMBSHELL: Sources say Michelle McGee also slept with Carey Hart.

Much has been made of the other women in the Jesse James scandal, but the revelation that Sandra Bullock’s hubby wasn’t McGee’s only conquest is new.

Hart, who was estranged from Pink but has never divorced her, reportedly visited McGee’s strip club in San Diego to watch the tattooed wonder dance.

“One of her female friends was friendly with Carey also and Michelle got angry that things did not pan out as they expected,” her ex-husband added.

“This was before her time with Jesse James. It is so typical of Michelle because she always goes for the guy who she thinks has the deepest pockets.”

“It’s horrible. She will sleep with anybody who she believes can help her out.”

Also horrible? The fact that your ex-wife is a Nazi, dude. But you knew that.

Who Wants to Date Kim Kardashian?


Possibly coming to a TV screen near you: For the Love of Kim.

According to insiders close to Kim Kardashian, the newly-single reality star is pitching a dating series to producer Ryan Seacrest. Sounds like Ray J taught this vixen about more than just the best camera angles on a sex tape.

“Kim will probably stay single for awhile to see if the show will become a reality,” a source told HollywoodLife.com. “She really hopes the idea takes and the show works out. She’s hoping Ryan will produce it!”

Reps for Kardashian have not commented on this rumor, but Kim doesn’t appear in a hurry to reconcile with Reggie. She’s all business these days, friends and relatives say.

She’s been spending a lot of time in Miami (see below), while promoting her clothing brand and hanging out with her sisters.

“Just enjoying single life right now,” a pal says of Kim.

Mark Ballas to Dancing with the Stars Fans: Lay Off Kate Gosselin!


Len has called her dancing “dreadful.”

Bruno has called her the super bitch from hell.

Tony Dovolani just wants her gone at any cost.

America won’t oblige, however, at least not yet. Kate Gosselin’s controversial stint on Dancing with the Stars continues Monday. Will it be her last performance?

Maybe, maybe not. But Mark Ballas, who was inexplicably eliminated first this season with Shannen Doherty, thinks er need to cut the reality mom some slack.

“She’s really out of her element, thrown in the deep end,” Ballas says. “I think she’s doing a really good job, and I think people need to give her a break. I absolutely sympathize with her. She’s never done this before. It’s difficult.”

This isn’t to say he thinks Kate Gosselin is even remotely good, just that we should back off a little. Until she quits her non-stop whining, don’t expect it.

As for who he likes to hoist the coveted disco ball come season’s end, Mark is high on Jake Pavelka, Nicole Scherzinger, Evan Lysacek and Erin Andrews.

“I like Erin and Maks together,” he said of Erin and partner / rumored beau Maksim Chmerkovskiy. “What they did with the blindfold was really creative.”

Kids of Bruce Beresford-Redman Handed Over to Their Grandparents


Still a suspect in his wife’s murder, Bruce Beresford-Redman has been released by Mexican authorities.

But a Los Angeles court has granted temporary custody of his children (ages five and three) to the former TV producer’s parents. The children will reside with these relatives while police determine if Beresford-Redman played a role in his wife’s death.

“My wife and I are grief-stricken at the loss of our beloved daughter-in-law,” Bruce’s father, David Beresford-Redman, said yesterday. “We know our son loved Monica and would never have harmed her.”

That’s not what Carla Burgos says, however. She claims Bruce was having an affair and is positive he’s responsible for her sister’s murder.

Beresford-Redman has been handed over to the U.S. Consolate and taken to an undisclosed location in Mexico.

“He can’t leave the country,” said Francisco Alor, attorney general for the state of Quintana Roo. “We still can’t say that he is responsible, but that’s the starting point of the investigation because we have witnesses who say he was the last to see her alive.”

Vanessa Hudgens to Struggle with Rent This Summer


Vanessa Hudgens is about to take a major career step.

The former High School Musical star will soon put on her singing-and-dancing shoes again, but she’ll do it a production of a Tony-winning musical: Hudgens has signed on to play Mimi, a dancer with HIV, in an upcoming production of Rent.

The play is will run on August 6, 7 and 8 at the Hollywood Bowl. It will be directed by Neil Patrick Harris, who has nothing but praise Vanessa. He says:

“She came in for a work session, and I must say, Vanessa really impressed. She looks amazing, has great vocal chops and seems really committed to honoring the somewhat iconic role of Mimi. I look forward to audiences seeing a dark, edgy and very different side of Vanessa Hudgens this August.”

Brandon Davis Bashes “Fat” Mischa Barton; Actress’ Friends Try to Protect Her From Lindsay Lohan


They say misery loves company. Same goes for miserable train wrecks.

Lindsay Lohan and Mischa Barton definitely need to hang out more. There’s so much ambition and success to go around, it’s like a rising tide lifting all boats.

Or not. Sources say Lindsay, who’s “raging” over her dad’s engagement to her former BFF Kate Major (don’t ask) was in rare form this week, even for her.

At Nylon’s 11th-anniversary bash, she partied with her gal pal Mischa, who got into an ugly (and rather public) fight with her ex-boyfriend Brandon Davis.

Yup, a Greasy Bear sighting. Firecrotch was there, too!

The seldom-seen ursine specimen later took to his Twitter page to bash the former OC star, writing: “Omg. Just realized my ex turned in to 1 of the fattest people in the planet. I’m gonna start dating plus size models. Not! Mischa the Hefer.”

Wow. Classy. Not surprisingly, Mischa was hurt by Greasy’s words.

“She was chain-smoking the entire night,” says a partygoer, who adds that both she and Lindsay, who have spent time in rehab, were drinking, too. “Mischa was never without a cigarette in her hand – and a puss on her face.”

That’s more disgusting than the thought of Greasy Bear naked. To her credit, Barton called it a night around 12, while Linds was partying like mad ’til 6.

“She was running around until 6 in the morning,” a spy dished. “She was on a terrible path as is, and her father’s antics are only making things worse.”

Not that Mischa’s friends are willing to accept excuses for Lindsay.

“Lindsay is not a good influence on her,” one says. “They should not be hanging out. Lindsay is an enabler, and that’s the last thing Mischa needs now.”

No word on whether Lindsay herself is Mischa’s weed hookup.
