Celebrity Fit Club’s Rhonda Britten: “I am so proud of Kevin Federline”

April 7, 2010

After nine weeks of healthy eating and increasingly difficult boot camp
challenges, Jay McCarroll is this season of Celebrity Fit Club’s winner — and loser — with 40 pounds shed from his now-fit frame. “I believe Jay will stick
to the diet and we’ll see him be healthier and even more vibrant in the
future,” the VH1 fitness series’ life coach Rhonda Britten tells In Touch,
adding that the fashion designer has lost even more weight since the show
stopped filming. Though he lost out on the $50,000 prize, a second-place
Kevin Federline made a giant leap emotionally in the last episode by apologizing to fellow contestant and ex-girlfriend, Shar Jackson, for publicly breaking her heart. “It was a long time coming. I am so proud of the way Kevin did it. He didn’t hold back; he really came clean. It was a
gift to him, Shar, their children, and his fans,” Rhonda added of the
dancer, who dumped the pregnant actress for pop star Britney Spears in 2004.
Set free by Kevin’s kind words, a fit and fabulous Shar is happier than
ever. “Shar is back! She’s dating, socializing and feeling powerful,”
Rhonda said. Check out Rhonda’s Fearless America tour, coming to LA on April
19, San Diego on April 20, Sacramento on April 22, and San Francisco on
April 24. To find out more, visit www.rhondabritten.com.

The Biggest Loser: What you didn’t see!

Stephanie Anderson didn’t become the The Biggest Loser — she was sent home last week after Koli convinced her friends that she was manipulating them — but she did change her life and find love with contestant Sam Poueu, which means she’s still very much invested in what happens next. Stephanie, who been giving In Touch readers exclusive insight into every episode, will now be weighing in on life at the ranch from a new perspective. “It’s totally different watching it when I’m not on it, and seeing them all come in after my elimination and hearing Koli say, ‘You’ve been given a gift,’” she tells In Touch. “Of course I’m rooting for Sam, but now it’s not so much watching how my story is being told, but watching the overall picture.”

Steve Carell’s “fancy” date nights

In his movie Date Night, Steve Carell plays one-half of a crazed couple who encounter cops and strippers on an evening out gone horrifically awry. But in his off-screen life, the actor enjoys much more low-key nights with his wife of 15 years, Nancy. “The best date was our first date. We went to the Green Mill in Chicago, a jazz club,” Steve told In Touch at the New York premiere of his latest comedy on April 6. Though the Office star and his longtime love, who met while he was teaching her improv comedy class in the Windy City, often spend time at home with 8-year-old daughter Elisabeth and 5-year-old son John, lately they’ve been hitting the Hollywood scene. “Our date nights have recently consisted of mostly going to awards shows. That’s been great, because it gives us an excuse to go out and dress up and feel all fancy,” the Golden Globe-winner added.

Michael Lohan, Kate Major Looking to Procreate So Hard; Lindsay and Dina Lohan Nauseated

Michael Lohan and Kate Major not only got engaged, they’re wasting no time trying for a kid. Mike says they “practice at least four times a night” in fact.

As if the mere engagement weren’t gross enough to his last family.

“Kate wants a baby. Since I’m getting no younger, we practice at least four times a night,” he tells TV Guide about his fiancée, but with one minor caveat:

“We agreed that if she does get pregnant, one is enough.”

Probably for the best, given how the last batch turned out.

Michael Lohan, who turns 50 this month, has four children with ex-wife Dina, including helpless, broke train wreck Lindsay Lohan and JV version Ali Lohan.

That’s how many times we tried to conceive by noon!

Kate Major, who at 27 is just a few years older than Lindsay, had a short relationship with Michael Lohan’s friend, Jon Gosselin. Hey, anything’s a step up.

The two got engaged Easter weekend after dating about half a year. A place and date have not been set, but they’re looking at December on Long Island.

Two people Mike probably won’t see there? His previous wife and his eldest daughter. “It’s certainly a marriage made in tabloid heaven,” Dina Lohan said.

“Kate dated Hailey Glassman’s ex, then is best friends with Michael’s ex [Erin Muller], now she’s engaged to Michael. It all sounds a bit incestuous to me.”

“Where he’s finding money for weddings, engagement rings, I don’t know. He’s nine months behind on child support… pay for the kids you already have.”

Lindsay Lohan was more succinct, though no less repulsed by the news.

“I’m gonna vomit!” she told Us. “I so didn’t need that info… yuck!”

Eva Longoria Confirms a “Thing” on Set Between Nicollette Sheridan and Marc Cherry

Appearing today on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show, Eva Longoria was asked about the lawsuit brought on this week by her former co-star, Nicollette Sheridan, against her current boss, Marc Cherry.

While initially saying she doesn’t know “any of the details,” Tony Parker’s more beautiful half did proceed to open up about an incident that took place around 2008.

“I know that they did have a thing on set – I guess it was a couple of years ago,” she said. “It’s so long ago, the actual incident, and I wasn’t on set when it happened,” she said. But apparently this incident had happened, and she felt it was wrong.

“I am trying to get the dirt here on set, but no one’s allowed to talk about it.”

Longoria referred to Cherry as “sweet” and added: “He really probably could not harm a fly.”

But the actress did elaborate more on what she knows, saying: “[Nicollette] was doing a scene, and… he was showing her how to do a scene. Honestly, I wish I knew.”

That seems to be the common consensus forming: Cherry and Sheridan were arguing about a scene that involved a slap, when the Desperate Housewives creator took it upon himself to physically show his star what he was looking for.

That certainly makes more sense than reports that Cherry truly smacked Sheridan across the face out of anger. Such a confrontation would never have remained under the radar for this long.

As always, we’ll follow up on this story when more information is available.

Fashion Face-Off: Ashley Tisdale vs. Stephanie Pratt

With a growing fan base of tweens, Ashley Tisdale is on her way to a successful acting career. She recently signed on for a Sharpay Evans spin-off.

Stephanie Pratt, meanwhile, is on the way toward the end of her 15 minutes of fame. This upcoming season of The Hills, after all, will be the show’s last.

But the talentless blonde is taking advantage of every last second in the spotlight, piggybacking off Tisdale’s fashion in order to make headlines.

Below, each young beauty is spotted in the same Akiko Ogawa dress. Who wears it better?

Free Tony Dovolani From Kate Gosselin!

We have two words for you, Dancing with the Stars fans.

Free Tony.

Kate Gosselin is so standoffish on the show, she has staff members contact her through her bodyguard and is driving partner Tony Dovolani up the wall.

“When the show needs to contact Kate, they go through Steve,” a production source says, referring to none other than her rumored fling Steve Neild.

“She acts like a major celebrity. It’s a joke with the cast.”

Having also come under attack for being an absentee mom this week, the stress may be getting to Kate Gosselin, who in turn “tortures” poor Dovolani.

OUT OF CONTROL MONSTER TRAIN WRECK: That’s Kate for you.

Gosselin, who’s been called a “super bitch from hell” but survived another week on Dancing with the Stars, hasn’t bothered getting to know any other contestants.

“When she is getting her hair done, she is on her BlackBerry the whole time… [she] is not making herself likable,” an insider says of the infamous Type-A mom.

“If she tagged along, they wouldn’t ask her to leave, but they wouldn’t be overjoyed either. She’s not much fun,” another source adds. “She’s in full diva mode.”

Bearing the brunt of Kate’s wrath? Tony Dovolani, the pro dancer unfortunately tasked with being her partner. He’s already threatened to walk off the show once.

If only we could save him from the banshee. Unfortunately, people keep voting for Kate to stay on. It’s like ABC is rigging the votes just to eff with the poor guy.

It stops now. Do not vote for Kate next week. Free Tony!

American Idol Performance of the Week: Tim Urban (?!?)

Granted, Casey James probably put on the best performance on last night’s edition of American Idol.

And Crystal Bowersox pulled out a didgeridoo! (It’s a wind instrument. Look it up.)

But we’re awarding this week’s Idol Performance of the Week to the smiley Tim Urban. For what reason? Because he’ll likely advance to the top eight, and this time it won’t be due to his positive attitude or good looks.

Urban actually impressed judges and wowed viewers with his rendition of “All My Loving” last night. See what we mean below:

Tina Fey and Steve Carell Lead Date Night Premiere Pics

It was a hilarious date night for many couples and celebrities last night, as Tina Fey and Steve Carell premiered their new comedy, aptly titled Date Night.

The movie centers around a pair of married individuals (Fey and Carrell) who end up on an adventurous evening after they take the reservation of someone else at a restaurant. It also features Mark Wahlberg, Mila Kunis and Mark Wahlberg’s hot body.

While Carell and Fey were the stars at last night’s New York City premiere, they weren’t alone on the red carpet.

Fey’s 30 Rock co-star, Alec Baldwin, showed up, as did Rachael Ray and her husband. Naturally. Click on the photos below to enlarge images of various celebs at the event:

Jessica Simpson: No Makeup, Plenty of Cleavage

Jessica Simpson set out to challenge the concept of beauty ever since she ran out of other career options endured that chili cookoff mom jeans debacle last year.

Her boldest step yet? Going makeup-free in Marie Claire.

“I don’t have anything to prove anymore,” she said, and not because we know she’s sexual napalm in the bedroom. “What other people think is not my business.”

The Price of Beauty star says what prompted her to show “the real her,” wearing no makeup at all and even air-drying her hair for the shoots, is a simple desire.

Inspired by her very own A Beautiful Me initiative, which encourages women to be comfortable in their skins, Jessica Simpson wants to prove real beauty lies within.

That’s totally what made her a celebrity, and what she’s promoted in music, TV and film vehicles throughout her career too. The importance of inner beauty.

Jessica Simpson Without MakeupJessica Simpson: No Makeup

No retouching. No regrets. Still low cut.

Not that she’s done mixing things up. “If I’m in a mood to go out and feel hot and sexy, I want long hair I can feel on my back. But I also like bed head,” she says.

What do you think of her Marie Clarie photo shoot? Do you like seeing Jessica Simpson pictures with no makeup, or do you prefer the “enhanced” version? Vote!
