Fans may have noticed new mom Jennifer Hudson’s fabulous figure, but she has remained mum on her secret to shedding the post-baby pounds- until now. The Dream Girl announced at a press conference on April 1 that Weight Watchers is responsible for her newly-svelte self. “I tried diet after diet, plan after plan and saw pretty much the same, but Weight Watchers is that much
more different,” Jennifer told the crowd in New York. The Oscar-winner
credits the weight loss company’s nonrestrictive meal plan with her amazing
results. “I was able to eat sushi and I hadn’t had ice cream in about ten
years, and pizza in about ten years, until now. The first week I lost 5
pounds!” she added. Jennifer, who gave birth to her son with fiancé David
Otunga, David Jr., last August, called for weight loss hopefuls to follow
her lead. “I hope to set a good example for others. I would like to see many
more do the same and conquer what they’ve been trying to conquer forever,
because it’s possible!” she said.

We’ve concluded the April Fools portion of our news day.

The headline above is not meant to be taken seriously. Britney Spears did not get married in a trailer park yesterday … she’s just walking around looking like that.

Shopping on Rodeo Drive, she looked as if she just did a rodeo of sorts in the sack, grabbed some dude’s glasses off the bedside table and made a break for it.

Even her hot mess hair screams walk of shame. No more than the fact that she forgot two thirds of her outfit, of course. But hey, that’s Britney Spears for you.

How else do you explain this unmatched fashion glory …

Maybe she and Jason Trawick had a quickie in the back seat before rollin’ to the McDonald’s drive-thru? Or maybe they eloped at the local courthouse, then consummated the marriage in the back seat, then hit the drive-thru?

Oh who are we kidding, Britney Spears pictures like this are one of the biggest reasons we adore her. That would totally make an awesome wedding dress. She should sell the idea to a designer. We’re thinking “Kentwood Princess” for the name.

We knew Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart were missing each other and “counting down the days” until filming began on Breaking Dawn. But it appears they missed each other even more than we imagined … in our wildest dreams.

The two reportedly eloped to the Caribbean island of Martinique.

No photos from the impromptu wedding were leaked because “the couple insisted on total privacy,” says a local source, saying they even used assumed names.

“Not even their family members were there.”

The five-minute nuptials reportedly took place at sunset Saturday at a private resort. If only they had chosen an island off the coast of Brazil, like Edward and Bella.

Oh well, nobody’s perfect … well, except for the future spawn of Robsten.

Robsten married in secret last weekend.

Incredible as it is that Robsten apparently made it official, there’s an entirely different and troubling component to this story, too. For various reasons, their marriage has potentially put the future of Breaking Dawn in doubt.

Chris Weitz, who directed both stars in New Moon, is reportedly incensed at the distraction and media circus they have caused, which is likely to intensify now.

Moreover, a Summit Entertainment rep had no comment on the situation, but an insider tells Life & Style that its higher-ups are “not pleased” with their stars.

Their lack of communication over the elopement has execs worried about their availability for the new film, which is supposed to begin filming later this year.

Finally, the newlyweds, Kristen Stewart in particular, are said to be “exploring options” to void their contracts for the fourth installment of the Twilight saga.

But despite those concerns, the studio really be forced to pull the plug?

Of course not. This is April Fools BS. Did we fool you? Maybe a little bit? This one was sort of a stretch … our fake Miley Cyrus news was a little more believable.

This one, though? About as real as this Robert Pattinson wax figure. The chemistry between K-Stew and R-Patt might be electric, but for now, they are not married.

Give it time, however. Let filming for Breaking Dawn commence (it’s not in jeopardy in any way) and we’re sure rumors such as this will pop up again before long.

Miley Cyrus is incredible in The Last Song … just ask Miley Cyrus!

Critics have widely panned the film, which is the teen queen’s first major acting role outside of Hannah Montana, but that hasn’t made Miley any more humble.

On the contrary, so convinced is she that this is her big break into acting stardom that she’s thrown around the word “Oscar,” according to close sources.

And she’s apparently serious, too.

“Miley really thinks she is this big time actress,” says a pal. “The publicity is going to her head. She’s gotten mixed reviews but only hears what she wants to.”

Cute? Absolutely. Award-winning thespians? Hardly.

While the 17-year-old has yet to make such a claim in public, thise close to her say she’s already talking about commanding twice the money for her next role.

“Her ego is out of control,” another source says.

“Producers and more experienced actresses who have talked to her just roll their eyes when she talks about maybe winning an Oscar … it’s a complete joke.”

Maybe if she hadn’t deleted her Twitter, she’d realize that while The Last Song will surely do well commercially, she’s not exactly God’s gift to acting. But no …

Just kidding. April Fools! We just couldn’t resist an opportunity to write a story about Miley being full of herself … which she really hasn’t been as much lately.

In truth, she’s made no such claims about her own performance in The Last Song, other than that she loved it for bringing her together with BF Liam Hemsworth.

She also enjoyed the experience in general and now she wants to focus on acting going forward, while semi-retiring from her music, which she plans on quitting.

But she has no delusions about being an award-winning actress. At least not yet. Maybe a couple of feature films down the line, that side will rear its ugly head!

It wouldn’t be totally surprising. Anyway, in other fake April 1 news, did you hear Kate Gosselin got kicked off Dancing with the Stars?! What a raging b!tch …

Guess the producers of Dancing with the Stars decided enduring even one more Kate Gosselin tirade wasn’t worth the effort, because she’s been let go.

Finishing the job that voters somehow couldn’t after her debacle of a performance Monday, the network brass told Kate to pack her bags earlier today.

The former star of Jon & Kate Plus 8, who was planning a dancing homage to that bygone classic, caused nothing but headaches since joining the cast.

Her partner, Tony Dovolani, apparently decided he had enough and threatened to quit unless he was transferred to another star. ABC did him one better.

This face is also made by fans watching Kate dance.

Jon Gosselin put up with her for 10 years. ABC? About a month. The decision was handed down Thursday morning, with a source saying Kate was “shocked.”

Having become universally despised on the set (basically the Vienna Girardi of Dancing with the Stars), few tears were shed over Kate’s sudden dismissal.

What was the final straw in Gosselin being kicked off?

She was pushing her luck from the moment she first set foot on the ballroom floor. Follow the jump and read exactly what got Kate kicked off this time …

We wouldn’t blame you, since Kate’s diva-like behavior requires no exaggeration. Everyone, including Tony Dovolani, can vouch that she is painful.

Nevertheless, that’s not enough to get her the boot for real – in fact, the drama will likely lead to big ratings for the competition. Gotta have a story, right?

Another reason we considered for kicking Gosselin off the show was the uncovering of an elaborate, vote-rigging conspiracy in which she required her eight kids to vote for her 1,000 times each or else they would not eat for a week.

Also something we could see happening.

For better or worse, Kate Gosselin is still competing on Dancing with the Stars until at least next Tuesday night. You can go ahead and ignore this fake news item.

Wednesday’s American Idol results show may have been a great night for guest performers Usher (with Will.i.am), Ruben Studdard and Sean “Diddy” Combs and Dirty Money, but not for Idol hopeful Didi Benami. After receiving the lowest number of votes, Didi nailed her version of Fleetwood Mac’s “Rhiannon,” but judge Simon Cowell delivered the bad news that she would not be saved.

“I had a great time on the show,” said Didi after the decision was made. “Everything happens for a reason. I’m exhausted and can’t wait to sleep!” After her rest, Didi is looking forward to hitting the road with her fellow Idols for the Idol Summer Tour that will take her all over the country. “I’m excited about that,” the 23-year-old from Knoxville, Tenn. beamed.

Next week the remaining Idols tackle songs from The Beatles songbook and R&B superstar Rihanna hits the stage on Wednesday to perform her hit “Te Amo.”

Jesse James claims that Nazi pic making the rounds is really just a joke. Seriously, who among us hasn’t donned a Nazi hat and saluted Hitler in a photograph?!

Running some serious damage control for his much-maligned client, the cheater’s lawyer says the hat in the Jesse James Nazi photo does not make him a Nazi.

In fact, it was just a joke, and a gift – from a Jewish mentor! Ah, the obligatory “I totally have Jewish friends” excuse! You knew it was only a matter of time.

The phot may have been in poor taste, but it was given as a gag to James by his Jewish godfather, attorney Joe Yanny said, denying that he’s an anti-Semite.

Moreover, Yanny said James lived for a month in an Israeli kibbutz. So he’s basically Jewish himself, and totally down with those peeps. Lay off Jesse James!

NO NEO-NAZI: Jesse James’ lawyer denies he is.

Yanny refused to talk about the James-Bullock marriage, which unraveled when Michelle McGee – who also has Nazi pics out there – alleged an affair with him.

“I understand people’s desire in newsworthy stories, but I would hope that by now this wasn’t such a newsworthy story such that his basic rights and privacy aren’t continuously invaded in an improper manner,” Yanny told CNN.

He said “99 percent” of what has published about James in recent weeks is untrue … which we highly doubt. The foursome account? Maybe that’s untrue.

But the Nazi pic and affairs themselves seemed ridiculous at first, too.

In any case, James is in rehab “to deal with personal issues” in a bid to save his marriage to actress Sandra Bullock, a spokeswoman for James said.

“He realized that this time was crucial to help himself,” his rep said. “I request that his rights in regards to privacy and medical matters be respected.”

It’s hard to believe that at this time last year, few people knew Jon Gosselin as anything more than the father on Jon & Kate Plus 8, if they knew him at all.

Now he is a world-renowned douchebag.

Ever since his marriage to Kate Gosselin imploded last spring and summer, with celebrity gossip tabloids covering every more, Jon has become a sensation.

At squiring mediocre girls, if nothing else.

In any case, Jon turns 33 years old today. Which is more like 53 in his case, given all the drinking, smoking and being married to Kate for nearly a decade.

Happy birthday to the unemployed bum!

Since his widely-publicized split from Kate, Jon has gone on to sleep with Deanna Hummel, Hailey Glassman, Stephanie Santoro, Kate Major and Morgan Christie.

Quite a rebound year he had. He’s also been sued by TLC for violating his non-compete clause, and has been virtually banned from being a celebrity. Point, TLC!

Where will he turn up next? Besides the bed of some desperate 22-year-old college girl? No one knows, but we can’t wait to find out, and we’ll be watching him.

Almost exactly a year ago, Susan Magdalane Boyle garnered widespread, international attention when she appeared as a contestant on Britain’s Got Talent.

Ever since she sang “I Dreamed a Dream” from Les Misérables that night, she became a sensation, and after nearly winning the competition, her first album was released in November of last year and debuted at #1 on charts around the globe.

Adam Lambert may not be one, but the surprise star has attracted legions of fans worldwide. The Scottish singer turns 49 today. What a happy occasion!
