Ke$ha dissed Britney Spears earlier this month for her lip syncing tendencies. But the mouthy upstart also gave props to the princess of pop in an interview.

In her chat with So You Think You Can Dance Australia, Ke$ha talked about her song “Styrofoam,” and its lyric “In 10 years, Britney Spears. Britney, who?”

Another apparent diss? Maybe not. “Just to clarify, I didn’t write that bit,” Ke$ha said, “I was 15, and there is a reason that song’s not on my record. I have to admit now I ever regret even singing that because I have mad respect for her.”

Ke$ha also Tweeted an apology to Justin Bieber for that joke she made about breast feeding him in Maxim, writing “dear justin b i am so sorry if my bad joke hurt your feelings. u r obviously talented and i never mean7 to offend u. i think u r rad.”

Aww. Ke$ha has gone soft on us!

Ke$ha respects the pop goddess that is Britney after all.

Meanwhile, Britney Spears and her agent/boyfriend Jason Trawick were seen leaving his place Tuesday. Looks like all those breakup rumors were … rumors.

Which is a good thing. First Ke$ha’s apology and clarification, now a sighting of a happy Spears with her boyfriend? A very good day to be on Team Britney.

For Kate Gosselin, getting ready for the March 22 debut of Dancing With the Stars entailed far more than perfecting her fancy footwork. In Touch can reveal that the former star of Jon & Kate Plus 8 may have secretly undergone multiple plastic surgery procedures with a top Beverly Hills surgeon in order to look her best for her return to prime time. “Kate thinks Dancing With the Stars will put her on Hollywood’s A-list,” says an insider. “She feels she needs to look her best, so she gave herself a major makeover.” According to the insider, Kate had a ton of work done, including Botox injections, Restylane fillers and laser resurfacing, which can cost about $12,000, says Dr. Brian Bonanni, medical director of Gotham Skincare. In addition, Kate seems to now have veneers, hair extensions and highlights, eyelash extensions and eyebrow shaping, as well as regular spray tans and professional makeup applications. Kate, 35, felt she had neglected her appearance while tending to her eight children and going through a divorce with Jon over the past year. “She went from hating the way she looked to loving her new appearance,” says the insider.

The 11 finalists all gave it their best shot, but performances by Crystal Bowersox and Lee DeWyze stood out the most on Tuesday night’s American Idol.

Showing why she’s been a favorite to become the ninth American Idol winner since her first audition, Crystal channeled her inner Janis Joplin last night.

Bowersox’s performance of “Me & Bobby McGee,” mentored by none other than Miley Cyrus, is even being called better than the original by some fans.

That may be a stretch … or is it? Check it out and see …

Once again, socks were knocked off by Crystal Bowersox. Some weeks, it’s like she’s in a class by herself and everyone else is angling to be runner-up.

Lee DeWyze held his own Tuesday, however. In one of the night’s top covers of Billboard #1 hits, the Chicago product rocked the Box Tops’ “The Letter.”

“I’ve always wanted that fairy-tale Cinderella look,” Tara tells In Touch exclusively.

Even before she got engaged, Tara Reid dreamed about what she might wear when it was finally time for her to take that trip down the aisle. “I’ve always wanted that fairy-tale Cinderella look,” she says. “There’s only one moment in your entire life when you can dress like that, so I want to go over-the-top. A total princess.” To that end, she’s enlisted Rani Totman, of St. Pucchi, to design her gown, and she invited In Touch along on her first tryout. “I’ve been married in movies and stuff,” she says. “But it’s not like this, picking out my own dress. Seeing myself and picturing Michael at the altar, I get butterflies in my stomach.”

The other details of the big day are still being ironed out, but Tara says she and fiancée Michael Axtmann plan to wed “somewhere warm,” with about 200 of their “close friends and family” in attendance. Mostly, the star is looking forward to starting what she calls “the next phase” of her life, including “one or two” kids, maybe starting in the next year. “Every single day,” she says, “it just gets better and better.” Sounds like the beginning of a very happy ending!

from wife Naama Nativ has not been ideal. “It’s not easy going through such
a big change. One of the toughest things is not seeing Aven every morning.
That was our time together, I would wake up in the morning and play music
for her,” he said solemnly. Luckily, Matthew’s co-star Kelly Rutherford, who is in the middle of divorcing the father of her two young children, has been by his side. “She’s a really good friend. She’s going through something similar,
and she’s a good person to call when I have questions,” he added.

Melissa Smith: Jesse James mistress #2?!

Like Michelle, Melissa originally met Jesse online. He reached out to her via MySpace in September 2006 (a year after he married Sandra) when he saw a photo of her posing in front of a car at a West Coast Choppers party in Long Beach, Calif.

“I got a message from this guy saying, ‘Nice car… that’s my godfather’s.’ After a few exchanges, he introduced himself as Jesse James and gave me his e-mail address with the name Vanilla Gorilla,” the nickname Jesse goes by.

Before long, Melissa Smith traveled to California, where Jesse Smith promised he’d take her for a ride in one of his cars. They never made it out of his office, though.

After some small talk about the artwork on his walls and taking photos together, “I said, ‘Well, I guess I should get going,’ and he said,’ You don’t have to,’” Smooth.

That’s when James, who clearly has his preferred methods, “moved his chair closer and started rubbing my leg. We ended up having sex on his couch,” Smith says.

Kim Kardashian is already reeling from her breakup with Reggie Bush. Now, if new reports are true, the celebrity could be headed for even more heartbreak.

As if getting dumped via text wasn’t shady enough, rumors are circulating that Reggie may have cheated on her March 16 with waitress January Gessert.

The alleged mistress works at Sagebrush Cantina in Calabassas, Calif., and supposedly spent the night with the NFL star at his Hollywood house last week.

The night in question began with Reggie Bush and a pal at Red Rock, a bar on the Sunset Strip. Gessert was supposedly seen leaving his house at 7 a.m.

A walk of shame, perhaps? Not necessarily. Reggie’s rep says Gessert is actually dating his friend, which would actually explain the sleepover at his place.

They also could have been broken up at the time, meaning it wasn’t technically cheating even Reggie went all Ray J on January Gessert, which isn’t proven.

Just the same, it’s interesting that this happened just as Kim and Reggie’s relationship imploded, due in large part to the reality star’s rising levels of fame.

People close to Kim Kardashian say that the relationship is over, but it’s not necessarily over over, and a reconciliation is very possible at some point later.

Still, you know cheating rumors – real or otherwise – can’t help.

Move over, Joslyn James … here comes Devon James! The adult film star has emerged from the woodwork to allege that Tiger Woods tapped that. Shocking.

The self-proclaimed “adult entertainer” claims she did Woods “over a 2½ year orgy.” Presumably she means off and on over that time. Dude’s not that good.

In a radio interview, Devon James alleged that Tiger paid her and two women $2,000 each after a brief introduction for what she described as “dirty” sex.

“There was very little talk,” said James, the latest to make Tiger’s list of mistresses during his five-year marriage to former swimsuit model Elin Nordegren.

Devon James claims to have bedded Tiger Woods. Get in line.

The porn star said that Woods preferred to be the dominant partner in bed, is well endowed, and claimed his wife and the mother of his kids doesn’t like sex.

That would explain so much.

After their first threesome, Tiger allegedly gave her his personal number as the tawdry trysts continued through 2008. James says phone records confirm it.

Devon says that in one message, Woods tells her simply, “I want you to be my whore.” Sounds a lot like the Tiger Woods text messages to James’ namesake.

The infamous Joslyn James and Holly Sampson, another conquest of Tiger, both work in the “industry.” Devon would make porn star mistress #3 in that case!

As if Elin Woods’ chastity belt weren’t tight enough as it is. Sure, Devon James could be lying, but it sounds like him – and does he have any credibility left?

If The Sun (UK) is to be believed, 10-year-old singer Justin Bieber unexpectedly lashed out at Mariah Carey during an otherwise normal interview with the paper.

While praising Justin Timberlake, Rihanna and Beyoncé, he didn’t mince words when it came to Mimi. “I don’t love her new music, it’s not the same,” he said.

“It’s like Michael Jordan coming back to the NBA. She is past her best.”

Snap. Looks like someone’s publicist is gonna be working overtime … or already did. The quote and any mention of Carey has since been removed. Suspicious!

Justin Bieber likened Mariah Carey to the Washington Wizards iteration of Michael Jordan. Possibly. The origin of the prepubescent star’s Carey quote is debatable.

Could Bieber have a cleaner on retainer to fix his verbal gaffes (like saying Miley Cyrus isn’t his type)? Could the reporter have made that up and later been called out?

We may never know. But we’re going to go ahead and officially say we think he said it, because look at him. He’s a little hothead, you can just tell. What a frickin’ punk.
