As evidenced by his response to Ryan Seacrest’s question during a live broadcast of American Idol last week (Who are you winking at? My girlfriend.), Simon Cowell is in proudly in love with Mezhgan Hussainy.

Whether or not these two are engaged is still a question, but Simon’s feelings for the make-up artist are not.

“You just know when you’ve found somebody special and I feel very, very happy,” Cowell tells Piers Morgan in an interview that will air Saturday in England.

The judge, of course, will leave American Idol after this season. What else does his future hold? Possibly children.

“The thing about kids, it’s like marriage, you know you have to believe you’re in something that you’re in for the long term, a hundred percent,” Simon said, not dismissing the possibility of procreation.

The Afghanistan-born Hussainy has been seen sporting a huge diamond ring, but neither she nor Cowell will confirm if a proposal has taken place. In other Idol news:

Good is supposed to conquer evil, but that hasn’t been the case so far in this season of Survivor: Heroes vs. Villians. After losing yet another immunity challenge, the Heroes found themselves sitting at Tribal Council for the third time, and Cirie Fields had a sinking suspicion that her tribe was about to turn on her. “I was leery,” she tells In Touch about trusting her tribe to stick to the plan to vote for Tom and Colby. And her instinct proved to be right-on, because when the votes were read, Cirie became the fourth player to have their torch extinguished on Survivor.

“It seems like she’ll do anything to stay relevant,” Heidi’s friend tells In Touch.

Just a few weeks ago, Heidi Montag admitted to the world that she’s obsessed with plastic surgery — unveiling her new “upgraded” looks after undergoing 10 invasive procedures in a single day. But now In Touch can reveal that Heidi’s friends and family are worried that she has a far more serious addiction: fame. “Heidi craves the spotlight,” says a friend of hers. “Her drive is more about stardom than money or anything else.” According to the friend, every time Heidi drops out of the headlines, she panics and drums up a publicity stunt. But her latest plan has loved ones bewildered. “Heidi wants to have a baby. She also knows it will probably generate a lot of attention,” reveals the friend, who adds that Heidi and her husband, Spencer Pratt, have already started trying to conceive. “It seems like she’ll do anything to stay relevant.”

The upcoming issue of Glamour features three rising stars and bona fide cuties on different covers: Leighton Meester, Amanda Seyfried and Zoe Saldana.

For the publication’s 50 Most Glam Women of 2010 issue, it chose Gossip Girl star Leighton as “Most Stylish.” She’s a good choice there, without a doubt.

Meanwhile, Avatar star Zoe was named the magazine’s “Most Elegant” and Big Love cast member Amanda the “Most Down To Earth.” No arguments here.

One of the three cover girls stood out in this regard, though: Zoe Saldana definitely wins the award for best quote we can turn into a bad joke. She says:

Joey Lawrence and his wife, Chandi Yawn-Nelson now have TWO kids.

Whoa, and whoa again!

Their latest just arrived in the sweet name of Liberty! No, seriously, that’s the name of their second child, a daughter. Liberty Grace Lawrence.

“We’re extremely happy,” the former Blossom star told Life and Style of the newest addition to his family. “The baby is beautiful and healthy.”

Liberty, born weighing 6 pounds, 8 ounces, actually arrived a month early, as Joey Lawrence said last year that the baby was due April 3.

Chandi Yawn-Nelson and Joey Lawrence plus babies make four.

Joey and Chandi Yawn-Nelson tied the knot in 2005 at Disney World, where they’d actually met 13 years beforehand, if you can believe that!

The couple, who announced they were expecting in November, also parents to 3-year-old daughter Charleston. Congrats to them on both!

Joey competed on Dancing with the Stars in 2006.

The new season of Dancing with the Stars gives new meaning to the term “Stars.”

When it premieres on March 22, the ABC competition will feature reality TV mainstays that are famous simply because they’ve been on television, supposedly acting like themselves.

Debbie Rowe is the mother of Michael Jackson’s two oldest kids, Paris and Prince Michael. Supposedly. How they were conceived and by whom is debatable.

In any case, she was married to MJ, and is listed as their mother. But it’s the current condition of Michael’s youngest child, Blanket, that has Rowe riled up.

Rowe claims she’s “worried” about her kids’ younger brother, whose real name is also Prince Michael Jackson, after the recent taser drama where he lives.

During a shopping trip Thursday, Rowe told cameramen she knows nothing about the stun gun incident at the Jackson compound or investigation thereof.

Michael’s three children have been living there with their grandmother, Katherine Jackson, since he passed away, as have the children of Jermaine Jackson.

Debbie did admit she was aware of the reports that Jaafar Jackson was trying to use a stun gun on Blanket after buying one with a credit card at Ralph’s.

He’s a resourceful little terror, that Jaafar.

When asked if she was worried about the littlest MJ spawn, Rowe said, “Of course I’m worried … why would I not be about this child? He is their brother.”

The Jackson family tried to downplay the tasing, but a couple of visits from the L.A. County Department of Child and Family Services make one wonder.

Rowe claimed she’s never even been to the Jackson compound, but has been visiting Michael Jackson’s tomb lately and tries to visit as often as she can.

McSteamy is now McDaddy. Eric Dane and his wife, Rebecca Gayheart, are new parents to a baby girl. The little cutie is the couple’s first child together!

The couple’s daughter arrived on Wednesday in Los Angeles, the couple’s rep Nanci Ryder said. “Mother, father and daughter are doing great,” said Ryder.

A name has not yet been released, but the Grey’s Anatomy star had previously said Gayheart wanted to meet the baby before making a final decision.

“I’m really excited,” Dane told Ellen DeGeneres in an interview airing last month. “I’m just going to stay close to my wife and make sure she is all right.”

A pair of proud, attractive parents.

Dane and Gayheart, who wed in Vegas in 2004, revealed they were having a girl in December, just a few months after the Eric Dane nude tape release.
