Who is Damian Whitewood?

The new cast of Dancing with the Stars is filled with more familiar names than usual.

Kate Gosselin? Erin Andrews? Jake Pavelka? These people have been in the news for months.

But on the professional side, there’s someone who is a total stranger to anyone that’s not a hardcore dance enthusiast: Damian Whitewood.

This Australian will make his DWTS debut on March 22. He’s partered with Pamela Anderson and we can report the following facts about Whitewood:

  • He’s spent the last few years touring with a production of “Burn the Floor.”
  • He’s represented Australia in the Worlds Youth Latin in Germany, the Worlds Youth Ballroom in Russia and was a semifinalist at the Blackpool International Championships in Great Britain.
  • He’s appeared on Dancing With The Stars Down Under, as well as on the Australian version of So You Think You Can Dance.

Based on this resume, it doesn’t sound like Damian needs our advice. But we have this word to the Samba-ing wise: wear a mouthpiece. Anderson’s breasts could be dangerous weapons.

Molly Malaney & Jason Mesnick: The Wedding Photos


Not even a torrential rainstorm could ruin the joy of Jason Mesnick and Molly Malaney as they became the first couple from The Bachelor to wed last weekend.

Trista and Ryan Sutter, who got married after meeting on The Bachelorette, were among the many guests from the ABC franchise on hand for the nuptials.

Dark rain clouds and thunder converged on the Terranea Resort in Rancho Palos Verdes just moments before the beautiful bride was to walk down the aisle.

But when Molly Malaney arrived in her custom-made Monique Lhuillier gown to meet Jason Mesnick, her bright smile couldn’t be dampened by any rain.

“It was the most incredible day,” she says, having married the perfect man of her dreams at long last “Our wedding was a moment of complete happiness.”

Will Jake Pavelka and Vienna Girardi be the next couple from The Bachelor to walk down the aisle? Many people don’t think so, but don’t count them out.

In any event, we couldn’t be happier for Jason and Molly. Dude took a lot of crap for dumping Melissa Rycroft on live TV, but it all worked out in the end.

Here’s wishing the cute couple a long lifetime of love, laughter and grilling out … which everywhere outside the Midwest is known merely as “grilling.”

Dave Navarro: Nude for PETA


That’s it! We’re never wearing fur ever again.

After all, Jane’s Addiction guitarist Dave Navarro has now bared it all for PETA, once again sending animal haters an important message:

If you continue to make a fashion statement out of God’s creatures, more and more attractive celebrities will pose nude.

The THG staff is very much anti-fur, but we’re also anti-PETA and its attention-grabbing ads. For the price of these billboards, they could have actually saved a few lives.

Says Navarro:

“Several years ago, I saw video footage of animals being skinned alive and screaming, and it, it honestly is the most horrific, inhumane thing I’ve ever seen… Some of the simple things you can do to help save animals is not buy fur, stay away from products that have been animal tested.”

Again, we agree.

But look at some of these hot, naked celebs for PETA. If donning a mink coat or two leads to a few more supermodels taking off their clothes, this is a sacrifice we may have to make.

Kendra Wilkinson Admits to Suicidal Thoughts


Postpartum Depression is a serious disease. It inflicts approximately 13 percent of women after they give birth, typically for the first time, and it can lead to major psychological issues. Even suicide in the worst cases.

We don’t wish to make light of it.

However, as professional celebrity gossip bloggers that have seen countless stars sink to any level in order to make headlines, we must question Kendra Wilkinson’s sincerity when she brings up this issue.

Meaning of Life

Asked how she felt immediately after Hank Baskett IV was born, Kendra tells OK! Weekly:

I never brushed my hair, my teeth, or took a shower. I looked in the mirror one day and was really depressed. I thought, “Look at me!” I had this glamorous life in L.A., and now [in Indianapolis] I didn’t.

A couple of times, I even said, “I just have nothing to live for.”

Considering Kendra posed on FOUR covers of this very same tabloid after giving birth, likely earning a significant chunk of change each time, it’s only natural to wonder if she simply needs a new hook, considering that baby weight loss story is old news…

If Kendra was truly depressed, we hope she’s feeling better. If she’s lying about that, she’s a pretty terrible human being.

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth Play Kissy Face in New Movie Preview


While Robert Pattinson makes the media rounds and promotes Remember Me, it won’t be long until one teen icon is shoved out of the spotlight for another.

On March 31, The Long Song opens. Expect Miley Cyrus to appear on a number of talk shows and magazine covers in the days leading up to that premiere.

Below, the singer and boyfriend Liam Hemsworth talk about their characters. They also get to first base in one clip from the movie.

Teases Miley: “Ronnie and Will are very different. She’s a little more independent with not a lot of money; he’s very wealthy, very taken care of by his parents. He has it a bit easier… on the surface.”

She’s a box-office queen and she’s nominated for a Best Actress Oscar for The Blind Side, but Sandra Bullock still has at least one career goal left. When asked by Barbara Walters if she seriously stands by her claim that she’s through with romantic comedies, Sandra, 45, says, “Well, maybe when I’m like 60 and I can do another nude scene, but you know, in a 60-year-old body. Heck, yeah. I think I might do full frontal — when I’m 60.” Other highlights from Sandra’s interview on Barbara’s last-ever Oscar special include the actress criticizing women’s roles in romantic comedies (“I find that with women, it gets watered down. When men do romantic comedies, it’s a whole different ballgame. So I feel like with The Proposal, I was allowed to be the guy”), confessing that she doesn’t think she deserves her nomination (“I’ll never feel like I’ll deserve anything that comes along — I know, it’s something for therapy, and we don’t have time”) and mock-threatening her fellow nominee Meryl Streep (“[If she wins], I’m going to beat the s**t out of her her!”). The special airs Sunday, March 7 at 7 p.m. on ABC.

Britney Spears, Jayden James Go to the Movies


Britney Spears caught an evening movie with her mother Lynne Spears, and her two kiddos this week. Nice to see relations between Brit and Lynne have thawed.

Showing off her newly blonde hair, Britney stepped out with her family along with two bodyguards to their local Calabasas, Calif. theater to catch a movie.

Jayden James is dressed up like Spider-Man for some reason. Is it because Britney is confused and thinks it’s Halloween? That’s really our best guess.

It’s all good, as long as she put on a bra for once …

Adam Lambert’s New Single: Love It or Hate It?


Jay Leno had a pair of contrasting guests on The Tonight Show last night.

First, there was Sarah Palin, mocking her own idiocy by reading notes off her hand again. What a joker!

Then, there was musical guest Adam Lambert. It’s safe to assume Palin wouldn’t include him in her fantasy version of “real America.”

The gorgeous British actress who plays Charlotte’s Irish nanny in Sex and the City 2 understands why many mothers would rather hire the dowdy Mrs. Doubtfire than the pretty Mary Poppins to be their children’s caregiver. “I wouldn’t hire a hot nanny!” Alice Eve confessed to In Touch while promoting her March 12 romantic comedy She’s Out Of My League. Alice also admits to be intimidated by the shroud of secrecy surrounding the eagerly awaited SATC sequel. “It’s terrifying!” says the 28-year-old Oxford graduate. “I’m worried that I might say the wrong thing, and it’ll all come gushing out, so I’ve erased it from my mind so I can avoid telling people the entire plot!”

The Biggest Loser’s Sam Poueu and Stephanie Anderson tried to keep their instant attraction secret, but other contestants teased them about their “dates” on the Presidential Mile, renaming part of it Cupcake Bridge. “When you pull away from the boys to spend time with your lady, it’s called ‘cupcaking,’” Sam tells In Touch. They had their first kiss during week three, and Sam is planning to relocate to LA to be near her after the finale. “I never expected to find love while working on me,” Stephanie says. “But Sam is like no one I’ve ever met. He brings out the best in me.”
