Tiger Woods is hiding the real reason he returned to rehab, according to the National Enquirer, which alleges he’s in treatment for drugs, not sex addiction.

THG NOTE: As ridiculous as this sounds, one most remember that:

• The Enquirer outed Tiger and Rachel Uchitel. That was true.
• The Enquirer is being considered for a Pulitzer Prize (no, really, they are) for coverage of the John Edwards-Rielle Hunter sex and love child scandal.

According to the venerable celebrity news publication, Tiger has checked into The Meadows treatment center in Wickenburg, Ariz., to battle his addictions.

To prescription medications.

Woods made no mention of his drug habit in his 13-minute apology speech, and insiders say wife Elin refused to participate in his sex addiction therapy.

We’ll see about that, but “In therapy, Tiger blamed a lot of his behavior on his drug addiction, saying drugs were responsible for impairing his judgment.”

The golfer entered The Meadows after therapists who treated him for sex addiction at the Gentle Path program in Hattiesburg, Miss., recommended him.

“After Gentle Path, Tiger traveled to Arizona for his interview at The Meadows, which is better equipped to handle rehab for drug addiction and depression.”

While calling Tiger a drug addict may be sensationalistic, he was allegedly under the influence of medication when he crashed his car Thanksgiving night.

He also liked to rail Rachel Uchitel on Ambien. Just saying.

Has Vicki Gunvalson cheated on her husband?

Do you even know who Vicki Gunvalson is?

She’s a star on The Real Housewives of Orange County who’s been married for 15 years to a dude named Donn. However, as Star Magazine makes clear, Donn wasn’t the guy by her side when Vicki was partying in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.

That honor, to use the term very loosely, belonged to University of Manitoba student Mike Pullin, seen below on the evening in question.

“Vicki was extremely outgoing and having a great time, like a sorority girl,” Pullin told the tabloid about his night with Gunvalson. “We clicked immediately and danced to rock ‘n’ roll by Bon Jovi and Journey. She was living it up. She kept talking to me. She was a big flirt.”

Witnesses say Mike bought his group a round of tequila shots and Vicki showed her appreciation by kissing him the lips. What started out as a friendly peck soon qualified for definite first base territory.

While it might not generate the same level of interest as Brangelina break-up rumors, we’ll keep readers apprised of Donn and Vicki’s status as a result of this bombshell.

Troubled actor Gary Coleman is being treated at a Los Angeles area hospital after suffering a seizure on the set of The Insider Friday, the show itself reports.

The star has “received immediate medical attention by Drew Pinsky, M.D. who was sitting next to him at the time,” according to The Insider. Yes, seriously.

“He was transferred in stable condition to a local hospital.”

Last month, the 41-year-old was briefly hospitalized in L.A. after he suffered what he called “seizure activity.” He was also arrested for domestic violence.

Gary Coleman has a history of health problems.

It’s not clear if Gary’s wife Shannon is with him at this time. The ailing Coleman was born with failed kidneys and underwent two transplants before age 14.

At one stage in his life, he underwent dialysis four times a day to survive.

It’s unclear if his recent seizures are kidney-related, but regardless, it’s good to hear things appear stable. Here’s hoping Gary recovers fully and quickly.

We’ve seen supermarket tabloids claim Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart were an item.

We’ve heard from Twilight Saga co-stars that have hinted there’s a romance between this pair.

Earlier this week, Robert himself said he and Kristen were “together.” But this is a first:

A British politician has ratted out the pair! Council member Nicolas Clark was in London pub Tuesday when he spotted Pattinson and Stewart getting cozy together. Then, the guy actually Tweeted about it:

“In The Marquis of Granby with Robert Pattinson & Kristen Stewart,” he wrote, later adding: “From what I saw just a couple of kisses on lips. R+K were acting like a couple.”

Is this really what we’ve come to? Politicians are using Twitter to publicize private moments between movie stars?!?

We’re not sure how parliamentary procedure works, but can the citizens of England impeach this moron?

Adam Lambert will return to the American Idol stage this season.

A few hours after Allison Iraheta and Kris Allen performed for fans, Lambert Tweeted today:

“Yes, I have been booked on Idol! Can’t reveal the date yet but it’s a ways off… So excited. Kris and Allison were awesome last night.”

They sure were. But Lambert’s debut album sold the most copies of any season eight finalist and his appearance later this year is sure to draw huge ratings.

But which competitors will still be around to see him? Our money is on Andrew Garcia, Casey James, Didi Benami or Crystal Bowersox to walk away with the season nine crown. What do you think?

On Monday, ABC will announce the new cast of Dancing with the Stars. It will only be comprised of 11 celebrities, which means a few professionals won’t return to the competition.

Foremost among them? Karina Smirnoff.

While the brunette beauty won’t be seen on camera, she’ll be “helping with choreography,” a source told E! News. “It’s just going to be behind the scenes.”

Added another insider: “She’s always been choreographing for the show. She’s a big part of the result shows. She’s like family there.”

The family will shrink a bit in season ten, however, as Lacey Schwimmer and Jonathon Roberts also haven’t been invited back. One of these sources said the decisions to axe long-time contributors “wasn’t easy,” but:

“Producers cut people based on the celebrities and who they’d be a good match with.”

So far, the only set of breasts name to have been leaked as part of the new cast is Pamela Anderson. She ought to make for a bouncy, poorly-dressed competitor.

With the arrival of their first child just a few months away, Tiffani Thiessen and her hubby, actor Brady Smith, can’t wait to welcome the addition to their family. “It will be a new adventure! I always wanted to be a mom, and my husband is really excited. I can’t wait to see how he’s going to be as a dad,” the White Collar actress told In Touch at the USA Network and Vanity Fair Character Approved 2010 event in New York on February 25. Though Tiffani won’t reveal the little one’s gender, one thing is for sure — he or she won’t be the next big child star. “Oh God, I hope not!” the starlet, who started playing Kelly on the ’90′s hit show Saved by the Bell as a young teen, groaned when asked if her baby would join the business. A glowing Tiffani is due in May.

He may use the most pejorative word possible when discussing African-Americans, and he may screw and tell, but John Mayer swears: he’s not an a$$hole.

As he continues to try and make amends for his racist, homophobic interview with Playboy, the singer announced to the crowd at a NYC concert this week:

“I hate to come off like an a–hole ever, and thank you guys for believing that I am not an a–hole. Never, ever in my entire life did I ever think that it would be a good idea to be an a–hole. But you know what? There’s plenty of a–holes who think the same thing, so I have to thank you.”

What? Even when he tries to apologize, he sounds like a moron. Plus, John, we never said you were an a–hole. We said you were a douchebag.

Mayer added that “it’s a clean me now, people, clean me.”

He then Tweeted to fans that attended his show, citing the bad weathe: “MSG crowd, will you tweet me when you get home safe? It’s bad out. Oh and HOLY SHNIKES. You were unreal tonight.”

HOLY SHNIKES, indeed. Mayer is annoying.

Kris Jenner doesn’t seem to think Scott Disick is a good boyfriend because he’s a lazy, aimless individual.

Celebrity gossip tabloids claim that Kourtney Kardashian and her baby’s father barely even speak, faking their relationship for the camera.

So, what does Kim Kardashian think of her sister’s man?

“He’s always at home helping Kourtney,” she says to Us Weekly in the latest issue. “[The baby] has for sure brought them closer… Scott is so attentive to him. Mason has contributed to Scott growing up a lot.”

While not exactly offering effusive praise, Bruce Jenner seems to be a bigger fan of Scott than his wife at least. He tells the magazine:

“Scott is still a work in a progress, don’t get me wrong. But he’s coming through.”

That’s reflected above. Disick has learned from the Kardashians how to pretend as though a photographer just happened to catch you in the act of living your life. We’re guessing he’s also learned how to cash the check written out for this photo.
