The Bachelor Spoilers: Season Finale, After the Final Rose Details Confirmed

From the beginning of the season, The Hollywood Gossip has been covering every second of the contrived, but entertaining action that is ABC’s The Bachelor.

We’ve also been passing on The Bachelor spoilers that, at least until now, have proven to be correct. But there is great speculation brewing about the finale.

Does Jake Pavelka really pick Vienna Girardi over Tenley Molzahn? Even in light of some of the stories that have surfaced about the former in recent weeks?

Is there a shocking twist, such as Jake dumping both girls, a la Brad Womack, or a reunion with Ali Fedotowsky, who left the program to return to her “job”?

Pretending to Look Conflicted

Jake Pavelka nears his heart-wrenching, terrible decision.

Some of the online rumors we’ve read heading into Monday’s season finale and subsequent “After the Final Rose” special do suggest that shocking scenario.

Other theories? Vienna dumping Jake on the ATFR show. The ending was re-filmed after Jake changed his mind. One of the two is pregnant. The list goes on.

Well, our man Reality Steve, whose inside intel has confounded Mike Fleiss and delighted THG for several seasons, has come through again with ATFR scoop.

This is obviously not confirmed, because we were not in the room for the ATFR taping, but the man is rarely (if ever) wrong, so his spoilers are pretty legit.

Follow the jump to read who Jake chooses on the season finale Monday and the status of their relationship as of the “After the Final Rose” taping (last week):

Jake Pavelka and Vienna Girardi are engaged.

Grab your pitchforks, Tenley and Ali fans, because on the ATFR show, Jake will say that he’s happy and that he and Vienna are getting married. End of story.

That is the outcome, at least as far as The Bachelor spoilers we have at our disposal right now suggest. Will they stay together and actually tie the knot? Eh.

Looks like Vienna gets her man. Sorry, Tenley and Ali fans.

We’re skeptical, as it’s happened exactly zero times in 13 seasons of The Bachelor (yes, we know about Trista, and yes, Jason and Molly are getting married March 8).

We’re also skeptical since Vienna Girardi is an annoying airhead who we can’t fathom Jake possibly being attracted to, but hey. Whatever makes him happy.

Or makes ABC money. One theory? Jake and Vienna split before Ali Fedotowsky takes over as The Bachelorette, and he makes a staged play for her on that show.

It’s a scenario that would be as nauseating as it would be amazing.

Come on, tell us you can’t see it coming. Exactly. So sit tight, Ali fans. Perhaps you’ll get your fairy tale ending eventually, just not this coming Monday night.

But first it’s off to L.A. for a press tour for Snooki, DJ Pauly D, The Situation, Vinny, Sammi and Ronnie. Are they ready for L.A.? Hells yeah these guidos are.

The gang appears to be in fine, orange, Ed Hardy-wearing form. We can’t wait to see where they turn up next … actually we can, but will find out for you anyway.

Connection to Songwriter Might Pose a Problem for Didi Benami


The live performances have scarcely begun, but controversy has already enveloped this season of American Idol.

Semifinalist Todrick Hall was embroiled in scandal last summer when a Tennessee production he played a role in never actually aired any performances, depriving the families involved of money.

More recently, Chris Golightly was booted from the top 24 (and replaced by Tim Urban) because he had signed an exclusive contract with a boy band.

Now, one of THG‘s early favorites might be in trouble: Didi Benami has a connection to judge Kara DioGuardi that some might say gives her an unfair advantage on the show.

Didi Benami possesses a unique sound and a genuine stage presence that makes her among the favorites on American Idol.

Benami has worked with Jason Reeves, a man she referred to as a “magical genius collaborator” and thanked on her MySpace page last April. The pair wrote the single “Pretty Fool” together.

Who is Reeves? A friend and songwriting partner of DiGuardi’s.

Would this affilation have any actual bearing on the competition? It’s unlikely. But as the most popular show on TV, American Idol must be extra careful about any appearance of favoritism. This is a situation worth keeping one’s eye on.

Celebrity Fit Club’s Rhonda Britten: Bobby Brown “conquered his fears”


On the third week of this season’s Celebrity Fit Club, Bobby Brown finally faced his fears — no, not of ex-wife Whitney Houston — but he handled his crippling horror of hounds and heights. The singer impressed the VH1 series’ resident life coach, Rhonda Britten, when he completed a challenge with snarling dogs and later made it to the very top of a rock-climbing wall. “I think Bobby was the most willing this week to come clean with himself about his fears. He definitely faced more things this episode than anyone else,” Rhonda tells In Touch. The most shocking incident with the infamous R&B star, however, involved a bottle of vodka. After confessing to drinking in last week’s episode, Bobby, who battled substance abuse in the past, disposed of his alcohol in an effort to stay sober and focus on his fitness goals. “It was huge. This could give him more confidence and help him be more disciplined. Now we’ll see if that translates into weight loss,” Rhonda added. But fresh out of the gates, Sasha, the “Russian Shakira,” was charmed by a mysterious youngster at the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards who just happened to be part of the tremendous trio everyone else knows as the Jonas Brothers. “She caught the eye of Nick Jonas, who came right up to her and went into a lengthy conversation,” an onlooker tells In Touch. “He seemed very interested in Sasha. She really commands attention.” But after the 17-year-old had made his stellar impression, Sasha turned to her friends and whispered, “Who was that?”

Dear Adam Lambert Fans: Chill Out!


Earlier today, we posted an article with the headline “Adam Lambert Rips Into Susan Boyle.” *

Did we aim to capture the attention of readers with it? Of course. Did we then explain the situation – in which Lambert referred to Boyle’s album as “terrible,” laughed about her single “Wild Horses” and then said he was misquoted, while not providing his real quote – in great detail? Yes.

Did Lambert fans seem to care about the latter point? Not one bit.

The instant they saw one negative word written about Adam, his supporters went off. They told us we were being unfairly critical of the singer; that he was entitled to his opinion; that we were fueling the hate against him.

(* Through a debate with Lambert fans that we greatly appreciate, we changed this headline because we now agree it was unnecessarily inflammatory.)

Because we now feel as though we’ve been unfairly criticized, especially in light of the positive Lambert articles we’ve written for months, allow us to respond to each of these points:

  • Adam is a mega celebrity. Every word he utters will be scrutinized. As such, he should have realized that his labeling of Boyle’s album as “terrible” would result in the stir it’s created. We simply pointed that out.
  • Of course Lambert is entitled to his opinion. And we’re entitled to respond to it with ours. This is the basis for all celebrity gossip sites, television reviews, movie reviews and pretty much every editorial ever written.
  • Aside from those that simply don’t have a taste for his music, people hate Adam Lambert for one reason: he is a proud, gay man. These critics are homophobes. We will never cater to them, we will only pity them and nothing we say will ever change their minds.

While we admire Lambert’s fans for their enthusiasm and dedication, we sometimes feel as though they treat Adam like he’s a child in need of their immediate, undying defense.

Lambert would be the first to tell them thank you… but calm down. He’s not a saint. He’s just a regular person. That’s really Adam’s main appeal: he’s a normal guy that is open to discussing his sexuality and appreciates the opportunity he’s been given.

But he may say a dumb thing or two. He may release a single we dislike. When that happens, we’re gonna call Adam out on it. Are readers entitled to get mad at us for it? Absolutely.

We just fear they’re defending Adam, almost coddling him, in a way he wouldn’t appreciate. He’s never asked for any special treatment. We’re sure he wants nothing more than to be analyzed and written about like any artist out there.

This may result in some people hating him, and that’s okay. It also may result in some of his biggest followers – like the THG staff – taking issue with a few of his decisions. Not only do we think this is also okay, we think it’s exactly what Adam would want.

Octomom on The View: Painful, Likely Unstable


In case you had doubts that Nadya Suleman is bat$h!t insane, and royally sucks in general, consider them cleared up thanks to her visit to The View today.

Dressed in a low-cut mini-dress with go-go boots, definitely appropriate attire for the mother of half the U.S. population, Octomom babbled incoherently.

We’re talking even more than usual!

The hosts asked about her exercise regimen and showed published Nadya Suleman pictures showing the drain on society wearing a small bathing suit.

Octomom said of that photo shoot, “I did this for revenue. I’m very up front about that.” She then denied doing it for money and said her babies come first.

So it went, asserting one thing one minute, denying it the next, acting generally unstable and mixing in painfully annoying hyena laughs for good measure.

So unnerved were hosts Joy Behar and Sherri Shepherd that they insinuated how Nads is probably not right in the head. Octomom proceeded to tweak out.

Jermaine Sellers vs. Lee DeWyze: Semifinalist Showdown!


While everyone has been assuming a female will come out on top of American Idol this season, the ladies left the door open for the men last night, didn’t they?

It’s very early, but no woman stood out on the first live performance show of the year.

Two singers very happy about this development? Jermaine Sellers and Lee DeWyze. The crooners will take the stage this evening, along with 10 other men, and aim to impress all four judges and all 30 million people watching from home.

Sellers is a professional church singer and takes care of his ailing mother. She’s been diagnosed with Spina Bifida.

DeWyze, meanwhile, wasn’t seen very often during the initial Hollywood rounds. He hails from Mount Prospect, Illinois.

Dancing With the Stars’ Maksim: Pamela Anderson will compete on the show!


Rumors have been circulating for nearly a month, but now Dancing With the Stars regular Maksim Chmerkovskiy confirms — Pamela Anderson will appear on the next season of the ABC hit series! “They did an amazing job keeping everything a secret this time, but we know that Pam is on,” the professional dancer told In Touch at Three-O Vodka’s launch party for its newest flavor, Rangtang, in New York on February 23. As In Touch previously reported, Maksim’s ex-fiancée Karina Smirnoff will once again put on her dancing shoes for the show, but that won’t stop him from coming back to boogie. “I am returning! I’m excited!” he added. Catch Pamela, Karina, Maksim and other currently top-secret stars when the 10th season premieres on March 22.
