While Grier enjoys classic fashion, Brooke and husband Chris Henchy’s older daughter, 6-year-old Rowan, prefers clothes with street style. “My
younger one wants anything sparkly, and my other one is a self-proclaimed ‘hip-hop girl,’” the actress added. With two mini divas and a busy career, how does Brooke juggle motherhood with Hollywood? “You just try to keep your priorities straight and try to stay creative,” she advised.

Crystal Bowersox vs. Janell Wheeler: Semifinalist Showdown!


Do you sense a theme early on season nine of American Idol?

The show is highlighting young women on guitars, possibly aiming to find the next Taylor Swift. Not exactly a misguided strategy.

Two of the female contestants that have advanced to the semifinals and made a strong impression on viewers are Crystal Bowersox and Janell Wheeler. The former can seriously rock a harmonica, while the latter was admittedly a bundle of nerves in Hollywood, but got the green light from all four judges anyway.

Jesus Was Gay, Elton John Claims


In a new interview with Parade magazine, Elton John says he doesn’t wish to be famous. How come?

“Princess Diana, Gianni Versace, John Lennon, Michael Jackson, all dead. Two of them shot outside their houses. None of this would have happened if they hadn’t been famous. Fame attracts lunatics. I never had a bodyguard until Gianni died. I don’t like celebrity anymore.”

That’s all well and good, but it then makes the singer’s subsequent comments about Jesus Christ – yes, that Jesus Christ – all the more unusual.

If you don’t wish to be in the news, Elton, you probably shouldn’t say that Jesus was a homosexual.

“I think Jesus was a compassionate, super-intelligent gay man who understood human problems,” John said. “On the cross, he forgave the people who crucified him. Jesus wanted us to be loving and forgiving. I don’t know what makes people so cruel.”

Come to think of it, Jesus was really into fashion. You could argue that he started the crucifix-wearing trend that continues to this day. He’s also well-remembered for eating dinner with 12 other men. Hmmm….

Scott Disick Tries to Mend Relationship with Kris Jenner


Appearing today on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show, Scott Disick aimed to clear up a few misconceptions about him. Namely, that he isn’t the Boyfriend from Hell.

He wants Kris Jenner to know that because Kourtney Kardashian’s mother is full of “anger at all times” when the pair talk, he told Ryan. But there’s hope for the relationship!

“Honestly, deep down, I think we both love each other a little bit, and I think that will come to the surface in due time. We already are getting along better these days,” Scott said.

Disick told the American Idol host that Jenner constantly compares him to Reggie Bush and Lamar Odom, the football and basketball stars that are doing Kim and Khloe Kardashian, respectively.

“Kris thinks that if you’re an athlete you tend to be a better person, when that’s not always the case,” Disick said.

It’s true. Sometimes unemployed deadbeats make the best son-in-laws. You just gotta give them a chance.

Tiger Woods Statement: Leaked, Likely Bogus


A copy of the alleged statement Tiger Woods will deliver Friday at his comeback news conference has been leaked, although its authenticity is highly questionable.

Among its claims? That “things have not worked out” between Woods and wife Elin Nordegren and that they will separate. Another part of Tiger’s alleged statement:

“There is no one to blame but me for the mess I have put my wife and family through.” After careful deliberation with his spouse, “we have decided to live apart.”

Baloney, right? Tiger’s reps reportedly say it’s not legit, and we believe ‘em. Many more things about the so-called Tiger Woods statement don’t add up than do.

While Elin Woods’ decision on whether to leave Tiger is still up in the air, and we would not be all that surprised if she did, why would Woods get into it here?

Moreover, Woods mentions his custody arrangement and barely talks at all about his return to golf (supposedly at the Masters) in these very brief remarks.

Fishy.

We’ll know for sure soon enough at his Friday news conference, but follow the jump to read the full text of Tiger Woods’ alleged statement and see if you buy it …

“Directly to the point there is no one to blame but me for the mess I have put my wife and family through. I accept total and complete responsibility. My wife and I have been trying to work things out but sadly things have not worked out.

Again all the blame is upon me.

We have decided to live apart with me having mutually agreed upon times when I can be with our children. I know the world wants all the details of what transpired in our marriage but that is between my wife and I and will remain that way.

I have to get on my life and that means playing golf again. I have contacted The Masters and have informed them that my plan is to resume The Masters and they have said that they would welcome me with open arms.

For that I am most grateful for I deserve nothing. Finally I want to thank all my fans around the world for standing by me when I let you down horribly. I failed all of you about as badly as a person can. I apologize to everyone of you.

I promise all of you that you will see a new Tiger Woods, a better Tiger Woods and I will not let you down. Now I’d like, by the grace of God and with His help, to get back to what I do best and that is playing golf. See you all at The Masters.

Lady Gaga Debuts Hair Phone


Already well known for outrageous hairstyles and fashion, Lady Gaga may have outdone even herself this time, debuting a hair phone in her “Telephone” music video.

By hair phone, we mean that literally!

In stills from her latest performance art piece, with which she collaborated with Beyonce, Gaga is seen with a phone stuck to the side of her head. Somehow it works.

She’s really weird. She’s also really talented. When you’re a rumored hermaphrodite who dresses like Marie Antoinette on HGH, what’s a little phone made of hair?

Chris Brown: Ridin’ Dirty … Enough?


One year after beating the crap out of Rihanna, Chris Brown has been rebuilding his image and career, belting out hits on Graffiti, attending Fashion Week, etc.

But the Rihanna case lingers. Brown will face an L.A. judge today to determine if he is doing enough to satisfy his probation on his felony assault conviction.

Judge Patricia Schnegg has been skeptical about the type of community service Brown has been performing in Virginia – and whether it’s been true hard labor.

Chris’ sentence actually called for hundreds of hours of community labor, not just service – meaning he has to be poundin’ the pavement (not just Keri Hilson).

Will Chris Brown be all smiles in a couple of hours?

Brown and his lawyer, Mark Geragos, will go before Schnegg today with a list showing Chris got plenty dirty performing community service on Virginia roads.

Hopefully for his sake, Mark makes a compelling case. Otherwise his relatively light sentence for an assault case could become a whole lot heavier in a hurry.

Bethenny Frankel vs. Jill Zarin: Coming to The Real Housewives of New York City


You won’t believe this, but a lot of drama is coming to The Real Housewives of New York City.

When the third season of the Bravo hit premieres on March 4, it will center on a feud between Jill Zarin and Bethenny Frankel.

“This is the angriest season yet,” Zarin shared with Life & Style. “There’s a lot of hurt, a lot of pain.”

What are those feelings based on? Sources say that Jill is pissed with Bethenny because the script calls for it she wasn’t there for Jill when the latter’s husband, Bobby, was diagnosed with cancer over the summer.

“It was a difficult time for me and my family, and the loss of Bethenny’s friendship tore me apart,” Jill confirmed.

Frankel agrees that the season ahead is “brutal,” but “I don’t have any hard feelings about anybody. She adds:

“I’m too happy. I have too much to be happy about to worry about what’s going on with other people.”
