Charlie Sheen to Face a Felony Charge

One.

That’s no longer just the number of unfunny Two and a Half Men quotes uttered on that terrible sitcom every five minutes.

It’s also the number of felony charges Charlie Sheen now faces.

The actor will be charged with a count of felony menacing in association with his alleged Christmas Day assault against Brooke Mueller, according to Colorado police

For reportedly holding a knife against Mueller’s knife neck and threatening to kill her, Sheen will also face a charge of misdemeanor assault.

Look for the actor to be arrainged on Monday. He’s not expected to enter a plea, but Brooke and Charlie will ask the judge to relax the protective order against him.

In Touch Exclusive:John Mayer brags about hooking up with Taylor Swift


When asked by a friend how his night with Taylor went, John laughed, and boasted, “How do you think it went?”

While HollywoodLife.com is reporting that John Mayer is dating Taylor Swift, In Touch can exclusively reveal that John told a friend that he and Taylor hooked up when they were both in Nashville, Tenn., on January 24. According to a source, the couple met up several times, in public and private, and were first seen getting cozy in a recording studio. “She was sitting on John’s lap, her arms were around him, and she was talking in his ear,” says the source. “They were acting like teenagers.”

That night, John, 32, and Taylor, 20, dined at the restaurant Cabana and were joined by friends afterward. The couple left alone and went back to The Hermitage Hotel, where they arrived in the loading dock to avoid being spotted and were escorted to John’s suite, the source claims. Both of their reps deny the story. But the source claims, “Taylor spent the night and enjoyed mid-morning room service before leaving his suite the next day.”

Though the source says that Taylor “adores” John, it seems the womanizer is up to his old ways, involving yet another starlet in boosting his career. When asked by a friend how his night with Taylor went, John laughed, and boasted, “How do you think it went?”

Baby on the way for Jeff Gordon

Jeff Gordon will be going from Daytona to diapers! The NASCAR driver and his actress wife, Ingrid Vandebosch, are expecting their second child this summer. “We’re very excited and can’t wait to expand our family to four,” Jeff wrote on his official web site. The couple, who wed in 2006, have a 2-year-old daughter, Ella. Despite his impending fatherhood, three-time winner Jeff will be back at the Daytona 500 this month.

Tiffany Thornton & Christopher Carney: Engaged!


Sonny with a Chance star Tiffany Thornton is engaged!

The Disney Channel star said “yes” in December to Christopher Carney, a court officer who Thornton started dating last year. Oh, how exciting!

When asked about her love life early last year, the 23-year-old actress said simply that “I don’t have a lot of time to go on dates with people.”

Looks like she changed her mind – and lucky she did!

Now if only she can find time to plan the wedding, as they have not yet set a date for their big day. Congratulations to the couple regardless!

Kate Gosselin Returning to The View


Kate Gosselin is headed back to television. Just not on her own talk show, as has been rumored. She’ll be returning to a familiar gabfest as a guest host.

The former reality mom will once again be on The View March 11.

She last sat around the table of the talk show in September when she replaced Elisabeth Hasselbeck for three days while she was on maternity leave.

This time, Hasselbeck will be present along with Whoopi Goldberg, Barbara Walters, Joy Behar, Sherri Shepherd and a lot of yelling and screaming.

Jon Gosselin, meanwhile, will be present in every tabloid who will take his picture along with new piece Morgan Christie, surely drawing Kate’s ire.

Did You Miss Tila Tequila?


We don’t give Miley Cyrus credit often, but we can say this about the 17-year old: she deleted her Twitter account and never looked back.

She’s also not clinically insane.

The same can’t be said about Tila Tequila, who claimed to have quit the social networking service on Monday (because it’s the “MOST HATEFUL, DEVIL WORSHIPPERS, RACIST, AND VIOLENT COMMUNITY THAT I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED“), only to fire it back up today.

She wrote:

“Damn Twitter was f***ing BORING without me huh? I would be bored as hell if I were U and I wasn’t on twitter anymore! hahhaha jk xox.”

That sure is a funny joke. Almost as funny as lying about a pregnancy.

Brittany Murphy died of illness, drug intoxication

More than six weeks after her tragic passing, a cause of death has been determined for Brittany Murphy. According to the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office report released on February 4, the actress suffered cardiac arrest after a deadly combination of pneumonia, iron-deficiency anemia and “multiple-drug intoxication.” Though officials confirmed that Brittany had ingested prescription drugs, the list of substances that lead to her accidental death will not be disclosed until the final toxicology report is released. The Clueless starlet was found unconscious in her Hollywood Hills home by her mother, Sharon, on December 20. She was pronounced dead upon arrival to the hospital.

Drugs, Shmugs: Brooke Mueller Shoots Down “Lies” and Rumors


Following days of mixed reports – is she in rehab? is she back on drugs? is she just recovering from an illness? – Brooke Mueller has decided to set the record straight.

In the latest issue of In Touch Weekly, Charlie Sheen’s troubled wife simply says: “There are so many lies out there.”

Here’s the truth, according to Brooke’s mom, Moira Fiore: On January 20, her daughter was taken to the hospital due to a fever/infection caused by the removal of her wisdom teeth. Speculation that Mueller had been drinking too much are nonsense.

“The infections and pneumonia are what caused the shutting down of her organs,” Fiore said. “Brooke was very sick.”

On January 26, Brooke checked herself into Two Dreams in North Carolina, a facility that helps people recover from grave illnesses. Sources clamed she had relapsed with cocaine, as some even alleged she had drugs delivered to her in the ICU.

Total BS, Fiore says.

“This is ridiculous! There were tubes down her throat — how in the world would anyone in this position do drugs?”

We’re not sure if pointing to Brooke’s mere physical incapacity is the best defense, but point taken. In conclusion, Mueller’s mom has her grandchildren in mind.

“She would never put her boys at risk,” Fiore said.

Shortly after husband Charlie Sheen reportedly threatened her with a knife on Christmas, the new mom was hospitalized with a life-threatening illness. As she struggles to get healthy again, she’s been plagued by vicious gossip about drug and alcohol abuse. “There are so many lies out there,” Brooke tells In Touch exclusively, and those close to her want to set the record straight. When Brooke, 32, was rushed to the hospital on January 20, it was because of a dangerous fever resulting from having her wisdom teeth removed — surgery she delayed because of the stress over Charlie’s court date. It was not, as some speculated, because she had been drinking too much. “The infections and pneumonia are what caused the shutting down of her organs,” her mother, Moira Fiore, tells In Touch. “Brooke was very sick.” But when Brooke checked herself into the Two Dreams facility in North Carolina after her release on January 26, the rumors quickly multiplied and grew wilder because of her problems with Charlie. She was said to have relapsed into a crack and alcohol problem and was even accused of having drugs brought to her in the ICU. It’s all nonsense, according to her inner circle. “This is ridiculous!” says her outraged mom. “There were tubes down her throat — how in the world would anyone in this position do drugs?” And since her 11-month-old sons, Bob and Max, mean the world to her, another rumor — that she had to go to rehab for drinking during her pregnancy — was especially hurtful. “It’s so horrible to say,” Moira adds. “She would never put her boys at risk.”
