Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green Might Be Engaged Again

January 17, 2010

In July 2008, millions of men rejoiced over the news that Megan Fox was no longer engaged to Brian Austin Green.

Now, those same individuals are crying into their pillows.

According to Green’s Twitter page, the stars are once again betrothed. In response to a question about his marital status, the former Beverly Hills, 90210 actor wrote that he’s “engaged and [has] a son from [his] previous relationship.”

The couple is seen below with Green’s child, Kassius. We’re sorry Fox is wearing clothes in this shot, guys…

Possibly Family

Other reports state Fox purchased a $2.9 million house in Los Feliz for the new family; while Green also Tweeted he’s spending time these days with his fiancee in New Mexico, where she’s filming a movie.

And looking really hot, no doubt.

Who Should Be the Next Spider-Man?

Tobey Maguire is out of Spider-Man 4.

Rumors say that Robert Pattinson might be in.

When asked if he’d take on the role of Peter Parker, Zac Efron sounded more than up for it:

“I don’t know what the chances are to be honest. I assume they’re pretty slim. It’s a long-shot, but if it came down to it, it’d be a dream come true. What young actor wouldn’t?”

A good question. Which likely means many rising stars will be considered for the role. Who do you think should end up with it?

Kim and Kyle Richards to Anchor The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills

Since The Simple Life went off the air, Paris Hilton has mostly stayed out of our lives.

Sure, she pops up occasionally and threatens to marry Doug Reinhart, but Paris is no longer a go-to celebrity gossip source. Her aunts soon will be, however.

Multiple sources confirm that Kim and Kyle Richards will star on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, the next chapter in this nauseating Bravo franchise. They’ll likely be joined by restaurant owner Lisa Todd.

When asked by E! News if she’d be appearing on the series, Kim (a twice-divorced 45-year-old and mother of four) said: “Possibly… I’m on a really tight gag order so I can’t say anything else.”

Kyle, who is married and has four daughters, is no stranger to reality TV. She’s appeared on both The Simple Life and her niece’s desperate search for My New BFF.

Said an insider, who confirmed this casting, to Radar Online: “Lisa, Kim and Kyle are all hideously wealthy. They live in these amazing houses, drive beautiful cars, live these fabulous lives and spend money like it’s going out of fashion.”

Who wouldn’t wanna watch this trio flaunt its wealth?!?

Happy Birthday, Michelle Obama!

The First Lady of the United States, Michelle Obama, turns 46 today.

After a day of pushing Haitian relief efforts, Michelle and the President celebrated her birthday last night at Restaurant Nora, an organic eatery in Washington, D.C.

They were joined by family and friends, including Marian Robinson, the First Lady’s mother, Obama’s personal aide Reggie Love and Attorney General Eric Holder.

The Obamas exited the restaurant at 10:10 to applause and spontaneous eruptions of “Happy Birthday.” The First Couple waved before climbing into their car.

Britney Spears: Ordered to Court

The commissioner in the Britney Spears conservatorship case has ordered the star to appear next week in person after she skipped out on Friday’s appearance.

Commissioner Reva Goetz is livid about what happened two days ago, when Britney was due in court at 1:30 for a status hearing but declined to show up.

Spears’ people didn’t want her to show because Britney was getting her nails done and reading celebrity news magazines would be besieged by reporters.

Pretty Brit

On the plus side, Britney Spears was seen smiling for once!

No word on whether the real reason for Britney bailing was her hating her body, but she will be there next week for a hearing – or else. Or else what? Something!

Commissioner Goetz, unmoved by the star’s no-show, said “The court was supposed to meet with Ms. Spears this afternoon and there was a misunderstanding. I’m going to continue the matter until next Friday at 1:30 and she will be here.”

The conservatorship was extended in December, meaning her father, Jamie Spears, remains in control of Britney’s personal, financial and medical affairs. For now.

Simon Monjack: Brittany Murphy Didn’t Do Drugs

Despite rumors that have swirled since the death of Brittany Murphy last month, both her husband, Simon Monjack, and her mother Sharon say she did not suffer from any mental illness, use drugs or have an eating disorder.

“Do you not think anybody would have picked up on this anorexic, mentally deranged person?” Simon Monjack says. “To suggest that is ludicrous.”

The pair have spent the last month sequestered in Murphy’s Hollywood home since the actress died of cardiac arrest early Sunday, December 20.

Both say Murphy, who was just 32, had a heart condition that was diagnosed in her teens, for which she had been given appropriate medical care.

“We had it checked out every way you could imagine,” says Monjack.

Murphy’s mother says her daughter’s naturally “bubbly” personality may have sparked rumors of substance use, when in reality she rarely partook.

“She never even drank. Maybe a glass of champagne at New Years,” says Sharon. “But everyone used to say she was wasted, she was this, she was that. It was hard for everyone to imagine that somebody was so high on life.”

Monjack said on Larry King Live that every morning when he wakes up, “it’s like a rebirth. It’s — there’s not enough time to — your dreams, be they good or bad, when you wake up and I reach out to touch or hold my wife, she isn’t there.”

Murphy’s mother found the actress unresponsive in the bathroom. She screamed for Monjack, who can be heard on the Brittany Murphy 911 call.

Monjack blames Hollywood for the actress’ demise.

“You want to know what broke Brittany Murphy’s heart?” he asks King, in response to allegations of her substance use. “Hollywood broke her heart.”
